I know that the music business today requires a certain amount of presence, touring, promoting, but you can be an artist in the way you feel more comfortable to. You can be that artist. Sometimes I really think about it and I appreciate that of you, the fact that you put your music first and you are able to express so much through it that you really don’t need much else to be considered so special, so talented and genuine. It’s not a form of compensation for what you don’t feel like you’re able to do right now, because that can wait, when you feel like you’re ready. It pains me to read that you think you let people down because what I think is that, in a world where presence is everything and only the most confident, the loudest people have a voice, where stardom seems to be the right place only for just a handful of chosen ones who have that overused word that is “charisma” ( but who decides what charisma is anyway? Everyone can be charismatic in their own way), who are everywhere all the time, well, in this world you created something different. People respect the hell out of you because you’re talented, you made an amazing album, and on top of that you’re a good and sensible person too. The music business needs you, it needs an artist who take off all his layers and he is not afraid to show how human he is. And in this world that goes way too fast and likes to leave people behind, I need you. I need you because even in another universe, and another moment in time, you are someone I would admire.
