The raven blinked and looked over at him. “I’m sorry? Look better?” Had he heard the male wrong? Surely not.
“I mean, your mood. You was quite anxious awhile ago” he said.
“Was I? I didn’t realize. Apologies.” He smirked a little. “I just don’t wanna miss this appointment. Its kinda important.” He shrugged and looked over at the male.
“I see…” he said in a low voice. “It’s a good thing that you have someone to care about.” he spoke, looking at the raven.
“Hm? Well its a job, I kinda have to care about it.” He laughed as he looked at the other. “By the way, again in sorry for bumping into you earlier. I should have paid attention.”
“Uh, sorry for misunderstanding, then.” he said. He turned his gaze and scracthed his neck as he always did when he felt embarrassed. He looked back to the other male. “No problem.” he said and added “Before I forget, what kind of meeting that was?” he asked before causing any other misunderstandings.
I was going to give information to a client of mine. Nothing special.“ He assured. “What kind of meeting did you think it would be?”
He averted his eyes and said “Nothing special.” he could feel the warmness that shame caused.
The raven smirked at the other. “Ah, I see. Well I assure you, I don’t do that kind of service. I only provide information.” He chuckled.
Blood went to his face and almost matched to his eyes, “I-I didn’t think something like that! Just thought i-it was a date!” he tried to explain while shaking his hands.
Before Hachimenroppi could even react, she was in front of him, causing him to almost trip. He quickly looked around to see if there was anyone with her or chasing her. He gave out a small sigh of relief when he realized she was alone and no one was chasing her. Otherwise, it would only mean trouble.
“Hi Kanra. What are you doing around here? Not causing trouble, are you?”
She smiled happily at the man in front of her,”Of course I’m not causing trouble~ I’ve done all I can with these people for now, laying low seems to be an option.” she said,”Anyway, I was just looking for something to entertain me and, here you are~” the ravenette giggled,”Are you doing anything important? If not, I will hang around you like an annoying sibling, just less annoying~”
Raven male’s eyebrow raised in confusion, not understanding if she just insulted him. He didn’t make a comment about it. He thought for a moment wheter he should let her stay with him. He didn’t have anything to do and a company wouldn’t bother him.

“Sorry ‘bout that ah— ya okay?”
When the other took his jacket off, Rubi’s eyes gazed towards the arms by instinct; if it was so hot one had to be hiding something, and that’s what Hachimenroppi would have to have been doing.
He shouldn’t concern himself with it.
“Yeah, I have.”
A pause followed him as the menu was laid gently onto the table; “you?”
Roppi looked to the menu again, not knowing what to choose he just decided to buy what the other male was going to buy. He wasn’t picky about food anyway.
He put the menu on top of the other menu and laid back to his chair.
“Since I’m not familiar with here, I’ll have what you’ll have.”

Let’s play “Have you ever?”. You ask me and I have to answer you, yes or no. The informant looks at Roppi, curious about that question. He stops writing and closes his computer. He stares at the other boy, interested. “What kind of question is that?” He shakes his head in denial and takes his cup of coffee. Four or fives sips later, Izaya leaves the cup on the table again and looks at Hachimenroppi. “I guess you knew the answer. No, I haven’t.” Orihara smiled slightly. “What about you?”
He pushes Izaya’s hand with back of his hand. He feels uncomfortable by the raven’s close presence to him but he won’t take a step back.
“You answered it for me. ‘ some of us we won’t hesitate in crush other’s head to their own survival, their own future’ you said. It’s true. Humans are selfish creatures only do what’s best for them, not only for survival but for their entertaintment, too. Best example is…” he smirks and continues “…standing right in front of me. But this is only one factor.”
Izaya starts laughing hysterically.
“Oh, that’s just the stupidest answer I ever heard! But I like it. I like you!!” He pokes Roppi’s nose and starts walking around the living room. “You are saying then, you hate humans because they’re selfish, right? That’s your whole argument? C'mon! That’s invalid! First of all, you’re a human, therefore you’re as selfish as everyone else! You’re showing it to me right now. Hating everyone is a selfish move to not getting involved and getting hurt. If that’s not selfish… what’s selfish then?”
For a while Hachimenroppi stood there in silence, slowly filling with rage. But he didn’t blame the other for his anger because he was right. The other male was still annoying and deserved a punch, he thought yet he knew that no matter how annoying he was, he had a point.
He let out a sigh before speaking.
“I’m well aware of the fact that I’m human.” he said and quickly added. “...and that was one of the many reasons I hate humans. You seem to know the answer better than I do so I don’t have to explain the rest.”
Hachimenroppi payed for his purchase and waited while other male was paying for his too. He noticed the flirtatious looks that the woman was throwing at Toudaimoto, which somehow made him feel a sudden dislike towards the woman. He took a glance at the other male and saw he was lost in his own thoughts. He was going to ask about it later.
Later, the looks targeted at him. She quickly averted her eyes when she met with a glare.
“Let’s go, Toudaimoto-san.”
Kurashi nodded and offered a soft smile to the other raven, before looking outside the shop. “I have heard of a peaceful, quite charming coffee shop nearby; is it acceptable?” he asked quietly.
Hachimenroppi nodded in agreement as he said “Anywhere is fine,really.” He followed the other out of the pet-shop.
“I wanted to ask... You looked lost deep in thoughts. Uh, are you okay?”

What I like about this the best is that they LITERALLY WAITED UNTIL THE VERY LAST SECOND TO REVEAL IT. Basically forcing you to form your opinion of him based on his personality and characteristics, instead of his sexuality.

“Uh, okay...” he hummed while leaning to his front to take the menu. He wondered for a moment whether he should take his coat off or not. He was wearing a long-sleeve black t-shirt underneath his coat, his arm were nicely bandaged so it would be hard to notice his arms.
He put the menu back on the table and took off his jacket carefully. He hanged it to his chair and turned back to look at the menu.
“Have you decided on something?” he asked while trying to decide what to eat.

“You’re not fooling me either, Roppi. You’re still avoiding my question.“ He replies and reclines his legs on the table. ”You look annoyed, relax.“ He remarks opportunely. ”Well, why do I love them? Humans are such a complicated thing to understand, yet they’re so simple. Some of them are predictable, some of them are a surprise. Actions and human’s reaction can be different thus beautiful. That’s what and why I love them! Diversity and differences. I love to watch how my lovely humans trying to live together despite his own differences.“
He finally stands up and pats Roppi’s head. ”Now, is your turn. Why do you hate humans so much? They’re so interesting to watch.”

The ravenette hummed lightly as she walked through town, her eyes darting between the people. She needed something interesting today, maybe something new, maybe something she hasn’t done in a while. Either way, she was eager to see what kind of mischief she could get into. She shoved one hand into her coat pocket and pulled out her cell phone, looking at the time and letting out a slightly annoyed sound. “I’ve been out for an hour and have found nothing? This city may be losing it’s magic.” she mumbled to herself. She slipped the phone back into her pocket and looked around again, her eyes landed on a familiar figure in a similar parka with a red tinge to the fur. She quickly hurried over to the figure and planted herself in front of him,”Roppi!” she chimed happily
