Why have flower pots when you can have flower cats?!
Do you have any tips for beginners at needle felting? I've picked it up as a hobby but all I've really been able to do are just basic shapes like spheres and other small things. Your stuff is so clean and dynamic it's just to satisfying to look at.
Awe thank you so much!! Actually, the thing i would suggest to all beginners is to master those basic shapes. If you can make a good sphere you can manipulate it to make a lot of different things! After all, everything can be broken up into shapes. A cat face is really just a couple spheres and triangles! Another random tip i suggest that i wish i knew when i started, yarn is a great not often mentioned tool! When you start out with the base beneath your sculpture, my least favorite part was getting it firm enough to actually work with. The ball often comes undone really easy and stays loose until you work with it for a while. I hated that part. So what i do for everything is tightly wrap a ball of core wool with yarn and there you have instantly packed wool pretty much ready to felt with!
