Masahisa Fukase, Yoko, 1974
Fukase almost exclusively photographed his wife, Yoko, for 13 years until their breakup, afterwards obsessively photographing ravens,as symbols of his grief.
Fukase died in 2012, having been in a coma for 20 years following a near-fatal fall down the stairs of his favorite bar in 1992. Yoko visited him twice a month throughout his long limbo – though, heartbreakingly, he would have been unaware of her presence.

Another detail I loved is how slowly and quietly Joel reloaded his gun in the museum. And how fucking scared and shaky he was. It’s something I never thought about. He literally has to take all of the empty shells and insert new bullets, which can be extremely loud. And in the game reloading doesn’t attract the infected. I love this show.
The only unrealistic thing in tonight's episode is that Joel didn't die as soon as the clicker grabbed him (he hasn't acquired the shiv master upgrade yet)
