baek is a live in nurse and chanyeol is a ceo. his assistant jongdae fears chanyeol is getting ill so he stays in the city so chanyeol can go get treated at home. chanyeol has cancer and baekhyun comes to take care of him. chanyeol has a bucket list of fun things he wants to do. baekhyun had lived a very monotonous life going through medical school. he basically learns how to live from someone who’s dying. they fall in love and baekhyun is devastated but chanyeol wrote baekhyun a very long note in his will (which included a very large portion of his money and the house he lived in) about how much he loved baekhyun and how the best months of his life were the ones with baekhyun.

originally written for kaisoo day, scrapped the idea and wrote another one. skate!au with a rough and tough looking kai who is actually a huge sweetheart and kyunhee harbors a reluctant crush on him. they end up together and promise to text and skype until she comes back next summer. other pairings include baekyeol, xiuhan and taohun. luhan works at the convenience store with yixing.

Kyunghee really doesn't want to do it. She's content with staying in her room all summer, reading and watching movies on her laptop, wasting the days away. Why did her parents think forcing her to hang out with her twin sister was ever a good idea?

"Kyunghee, come on!" Baekhee nearly yells, walking backwards down the sidewalk.

"No," is the stern reply.

She would drag her feet but these are new shoes. The vise-like grip on her wrist is forever unyielding so Kyunghee accepts her fate as the skate park comes into view around the corner.

"Baby!" Chanyeol shouts, running over to sweep Baekhee into his arms. Kyunghee fake gags.

She quickly swallows her tongue as Chanyeol heaves her up, swinging her around. All attempts of protest are met with slobbery kisses on her cheek.

"Gross," Kyunghee complains, rubbing at her face.

"You don't see me for a year and this is the greeting I get?" He pouts and Kyunghee rolls her eyes in fake annoyance. He gets a hug anyways (albeit a muffled you buffoon into his shirt).

Kyunghee takes turn greeting all their old friends: a sweet hug from Xiumin, a nod from Sehun and a wave from Kris.

Everyone seems to be there. Xiumin, a nice and quiet girl with short pink hair, is a great skater and very underestimated by any boys who go up against her. There's Sehun too, a year younger than herself, one of Chanyeol's friends from middle school. But there's a tall and rather intimidating girl practically hanging off of him. Kris, another one of Chanyeol's friends. But there's one more person Kyunghee doesn't recognize.

"Baek, who's the tan kid?" she asks.

Chanyeol pushes a skateboard at Baekhee, who flips it into her hand.

"That's Kai. He transferred here this year and he's Sehun's friend. He's a great skater, a natural even," Chanyeol comments.

Kyunghee can't deny (even with her limited knowledge of skateboarding) Kai looks like  he has a lot of skill, making rail grinding seem effortless.

“What do you mean Jongdae is still alive?”

Kai looks a bit hesitant, exhaling through clenched teeth.

“Sir, I’m afraid he is. Sources say a man named Chen has just recently set up a base in sector eight. And he sure looks a lot like Jongdae.” Kai taps her foot against the door frame, trying to shake off the sand stuck in the laces of her boot.

his life consisted of beiges and grays; dull, boring and empty. minseok was a lonely man. it had been that way for years and nothing or no one could change that. and then luhan came along, bathed in sunlight, draped in vibrant hues of pink and orange. one touch and minseok could see the beautiful blue of the morning sky, the sea foam green on the edge of the beach. luhan held his hand as the walked through the water, kicking pebbles along the way. but just like the sunset, luhan left as soon as he came, blinding minseok with the intensity that only a summer evening could bring. and just like that, the walls of his apartment became a lonely shade of beige.

baekhyun and chanyeol are business partners and childhood friends. they're having a celebratory drink after some party celebrating chanyeol's new enterprise and recognition of their first great year. they're at some fancy hotel and they're in a courtyard with a big reflecting pool/fountain and baek says "you did it yeol" and he's like "no, we did it" and they clink glasses. chanyeol explains how baek had so much faith in him and sunk his entire life savings into chanyeol's dream and being with him through all the tough times and craziness. baek just stares at the water and smiles when chanyeol jokes about it and leans onto his shoulder as he looks in to the pool. he tells chanyeol "hey our reflections look kinda cool huh". and they catch each others eyes in the reflection and it's this really nice moment and then the fountain starts and chanyeol watches baekhyun oh and ahs at it and it's another moment of him watching the colors from the lights paint beautiful patterns on his face. he can't help but tell baekhyun how much he loves him, they confess their mutual feelings and kiss with the background of the colorful fountain in the background
