"Miss Cherish?" The merchant chimed as he neared the other. His bag was slung over his shoulder as usual and he grinned widely underneath his hoof. "Wowie it is you! I recognize you anywhere!"

Shall we dance? [Festival of Time thread with themighty-ravio]

She had known he was going to come after her. Try as she might, she couldn’t just run away from her problems that easily. This was a mistake she had to face up to… The fact that she’d lied to him, decieved him, and… well, perhaps worst of all, had so shamelessly flirted and teased him… even when she knew how he felt about her. The real her, that is.

Hilda was lucky and managed to get far enough that it wasn’t until the outskirts of the town— where very few citizens were given that the arty was in full swing at the square— when he grabbed her wrist. She yelped when his grip snared her, a sudden wave of panic over taking her. His hand felt tight, tighter than it would be if he wasn’t upset with her.

She tried to pull against him, whirling around to face him in the process. “L-Let go!” she cried. “Please…. Just…”

His grip loosened and she couldn’t help but catch a glimpse of his eyes. Those bright green eyes… they were so soft, so concerned. Not furious with her in the least. That might have alleviated some of her fears, but it only roved to enhance her guilt. Of course Ravio would be understanding and tender with her after she did something like this…

"…I… I’m sorry."

Just by looking at her, he could see the fear all over her. The way she held herself in the moment, it made Ravio feel bad..Maybe he shouldn't have said anything. He should have let her continue to enjoy herself in the festival. That was why no one could find her, she was relaxing for the first time in her life and not worrying about anything. He still held onto her, relieved that she stopped and he took his free hand, pushing back the rabbit mask he wore. Exposing his face, he kept his green hues locked onto her.

"Why are you sorry?" He asked her, and he started to think about the events of the day. When she purchased his wish maker and spoke to him..and asked him to dance with her..and flirted with him.

Wait. She flirted with him. Princess Hilda was being a flirt with him earlier that day. The merchant's face stayed blank for a moment, staring at her, as he slowly started to comprehend what she did while she was her masked self. "H..Hilda.." He said her name, his lips curling up into a slight smirk. "You really think I'm cute and everything you said earlier?! At the stand and remember you asked me to meet you and dance with you. You were bein' all flirtatious with me, Princess!" He slapped his free hand over his mouth. "OH!" A light shade of pink crossed his cheeks. "Do you really feel that way?!" Now he couldn't hide the smile that spread across his face.
