How the Ezria proposal will play out:

I thought Nicole is going to come back alive and mess up Aria and Ezra’s relationship. Besides, we never saw a body. I take this all back.

She won’t come back alive. 

What is more likely, is that AD is making Aria think Nicole is alive. This will make her say "I need some time” to Ezra’s proposal because she thinks Ezra’s ex is still alive and she can’t lie to him about something that big when they were planning on getting married (but also because Aria fears she’s spending the rest of her life behind bars). 

AD will continue sending Aria signals that Nicole is alive, and she will finally tell Ezra that Nicole is alive. Then, her body will be found, and Ezra will be mad at Aria for getting his hopes up. Classic A move. Just like what Hanna told Mr. D in that season 3 flashback that Ali is still alive. 

However, they will get married in 7B. They will find their way back to each other, but this is just their final obstacle they will face before the show ends. Let’s be honest, they were put on this earth to be together.

PLL is only show where I can see someone’s head go flying through a window screen and be drowned in their blood, but still leave me thinking “but how can we be sure he’s really dead!”
