the admins apologize for letting this net fade out and die. we both want to revive and breathe new life into a network dedicated to a ship we still love even after all this time, and we decided to start with a clean slate!

#misawaday 2016 mini-event!

hello everyone!

for misawa days this year the admins here at @misawaday decided to put together a fun mini-event to celebrate our favorite aggressive battery!

the event will take place between feb 18 and feb 20, 2016. each day there will be different themes to follow (which are, ofc, optional), and at the end of the three day celebration there will be a giveaway to show our appreciation!
the themes are:
18.02: au and/or battery; 19.02: flowers and/or uniforms; 20.02: smiles and/or diamond
in order to participate, all you need to do is create! this event accepts every fanwork you can think of, from the typical fic and art to baking to cosplay and doll photosets! we have a collection set up on ao3 for those of you who choose to write and post to the archive!
participants must tag their works #misawaday in the first five tags or mention this blog somewhere in their post in order to have their works reblogged here and to be entered into the giveaway! you may also submit your works to our blog if thats what you prefer!
each properly-tagged or submitted fanwork you create gets you one entry for the giveaway, so the more you create, the better your chances of winning! and following the admins gets you a couple extra entries too!
there will be one winner (via randomizer) announced on feb 21! you can find the items up for giveaway here!

please be sure to read the faq page for more information on giveaway rules and how to participate! if you have any questions pls dont hesitate to ask!

sorry this is a bit late, ive been sick (the joys of working in the emergency room, you're sick ALL THE TIME)

no movie night or cah game tonight because im gonna go pass out, but keep your eyes peeled this weekend for some late misawa days activities!

HOW IT WORKS:
the exchange will be between network members only. we would have liked to expand it to include all of the miyusawa fandom but this is pretty last minute ;A; much like a secret santa exchange, we will have a signup and assign each of you a recipient to whom you will give your fanfic, fanart, fanmix, or graphic! of course, you will get one as well!
TIMELINE:
» signup ends on feb 13th » we will send out assignments on feb 14th » posting of finished fanworks begins on feb 18th through feb 20th

there are 15 members of this network, yet somehow we have 51 56 followers

it’s fine to follow, but nonmembers need to realize that none of the posts made on this blog pertain to you -none of the update posts and especially none of the events

that may sound harsh but for example when we play games of cards against humanity, i only allow a certain number of players in the games so things dont get too crowded and its entirely unfair for our members who applied and were accepted, but cant even join in on events because there were non-members taking up their spaces. same with livestream, my streams can only handle so many people before they become horribly laggy/crash

so if you are a nonmember following this blog, please respect that !!
