I respect the ship towards NaruSaku and I was okay if that had happened, but some NaruSaku fans really take it to the next level. I’ve been a Naruto fan since it first aired in the U.S. I’ve also been a SasuSaku fan since the beginning as well. People say that it doesn’t make sense why SasuSaku...

We are all ninjas. We have been since the first time we laid eyes on the Naruto series. I am in tears because the end is here. We’ve been fans for God knows how long. We never really think about the end do we? We tend to avoid it because we know how selfish we are and we don’t want to deal with the emptiness that we’ll feel once it’s truly over. But it’s never really over is it? Thank you Naruto fandom for everything. The laughs, the tears, the violent yelling and frustration I’ve felt. I know once everything is over we will still be a live and crazy community. Thank you Kishimoto for everything. You changed my life. Your characters changed my life. I love you all. We are all ninjas. Here I am with my ninja clan. Here we stand.

HE’S GROWN SO MUCH

What I loved about this chapter was the silent communication between Sasuke and Sakura, towards the end. Sakura’s request to accompany Sasuke may have been a roundabout confession; yet, Sasuke picked up on it and responded directly. Gentle smile, looking directly in her eyes. The close up to his lips, the pause before the utterance of “thank you” - all paralleling the same words in 181. Except this time, there’s far greater clarity — a greater sense of reciprocation in that he is able to respond to her feelings now. And judging from Sakura’s reaction, it was a positive response.  ;)
