  whoever this woman was,   she looked...important. like,   law-enforcement important.   and she was approaching him.

                                                 .....fuck.

          " ...'S there, uh, somethin' y'need? "

He wrinkled his nose in acknowledgement but offered the fire to the other young man. “Hey, don’t shoot down a bloke’s game, okay? Here ya are. Smokin’s dirty on yer lungs ya know,” he added informatively. though it may raise the question of why he carried a lighter then.

     he took the lighter and lit the cigarette,      handing it back to the other man.

                    " What's the light for then? "

         the question was asked with a raised eyebrow,          smoke escaping through his mouth and nose.

important for anyone who i currently have threads with

ooc;

alright, here’s the plan, guys.  if any of y’all want me to stick around on john, i’m probably going to have to drop most ongoing threads i have now.  not that i’d like to, but my muse for most of them have just died.  i’ll be keeping a few of them that my muse will cooperate with.  i have a lot of drafts saved (even with dropping some already) and i need some fresh threads to get me going again without the bulk of drafts holding me down and scaring me away.  this means, within the next week, i’ll be looking through my drafts and seeing which ones i’m still able to reply to, then trash the ones i’ve lost.  i’ll post them all at once so you’ll be able to see which ones i’m keeping and which i’m not.  after that, i encourage you guys to start new ones with me—this goes for new followers as well.  i miss you guys over here and harry’s just kinda taken over most of my time, which i feel bad for.  i don’t wanna abandon john bc he’s my baby and you all are my babus ok?

"Mate, tell me what to incinerate an’ ya got it. I can start a propa’ supernova if y’want.”

Far be it from him to deny a bloke a light, and he plunged a hand into his sweater pocket and drew out a lighter, clicking it open in a flash.

    looks like he ran into a crazy--or something.     and someone from homeland as well. maybe     an actual pyromaniac or something, like what     people always call him--which is, in his defence,     completely different.

              " ....Yeah, don't get yourself too                         excited, I just need to light my cig. "

Talking to yourself as a child wasn’t the weird thins John’s seen — Okay maybe it was but there’s other thing up there.

                  “John, what’s your?”

He already knew the answer but the little boy won’t know that. You can’t recognize yourself as an adult.

      a grin pulled onto the child's lips when       he got an answer. this was way cool--       they had the same name--or at least       they went by the same name.

                " That's mine, too!                                      Well--kind of. "

                                    he wasn't exactly a fan of his                                     real name even then. it wasn't                                     a normal name and he didn't like                                     people making fun of it or saying                                     it wrong--or both.
