"Y-Yeah, Sakura Haruno." The distrust was clear in her voice. Did she think that he was some stalker..? "I-I promise that it's not what you think! I just... I wanted to give her, uh, these." The bouquet of flowers were produced from behind his back, and with the appearance of the flowers came the flush of red across his cheeks. "I never thanked her probably for what she did for me, so I-I thought that I'd give these to her. O-Oh, and I'm Kanshin, in case you wanted to know. "

She blinked. “W-Well howdja do that?” Seemed like it would take more than falling. She often fell and had never broken her arm.

"Ah, I-I fell down some stairs, actually. I stuck my hands out to break my fall and then one of them just sorta broke. I'm okay, though. It's happened before."

She put one hand on her hip and shook her head. “Still, you really should be more careful. I guess its alright since you were helping someone, just next time don’t be so foolish, ok? Otherwise gramps will be mad at you too..” she said, letting a small smile form on her face.

"Yeah, of course!" He agreed, glad that she wasn't aiming her wrath at him any longer. After all, she was pretty scary when she did that. "I'll try to be more careful next time, because I know it gets pretty annoying when you guys have to help me all the time."

"Y-Your arm’s broked mister. D-Didja get inta a fight at school or sommin’?"

"No. I don't go to school." How embarrassing. "I, uh, sort of fell and broke my arm."

"That’s a good thing. I would hate to have to kill you for treason, given your habit of being injured." 

"K-Kill me?" The repetition came out as a squeak, so he cleared once again to regain his voice. "Ah, w-well good th-thing I'm not in love with anyone."

     ”It’s good to see you Kanshin, how are you? Is your arm healing alright? I’m fine, just a little busy but I can always make time for a patient who doesn’t complain.”

"I-It's healing up well, actually! I-It's all thanks to you, th-though." Hopefully she can't hear his heart beating, because that's all he can hear. 

"That you’re in love with a leaf shinobi." 

He clears his throat, cheeks flushing. "A-Ah, well... You know people. They're always m-making rumors..."

sakura week, day 2: bonds

“I didn’t see you there—— Is something wrong?”

"Oh, no! I'm sorry, it's just that I, uh..." You can do this, Kanshin. "...Do you know where Sakura Haruno lives?"

She let out a sigh upon seeing Kanshin in his current state. “Did you really get hurt again, Kanshin? You’re strong but you really need to train more, otherwise how will you protect the village?”

"A-Ah, you're right." Raising his right (and uninjured) arm, he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "There was a man on his roof, so of course I offered to help him out with doing what he was doing. I was knocked backwards, though, and ended up falling. I'd rather it be me than him, though."
