School and mass shootings are at an all time high, continuing from the all time high in 2018 and then 2019.  People who post these lies are repeating blogs written by only 3 sources:  1) the Russians (4,000 people in 3 shifts a day interfering with US Social Media; 2) the GOP (who never met a Russian or NRA dollar they didn’t like); and 3) the NRA. Don’t be a fool, don’t fall for propaganda.  Look it up for yourself. Vote Blue, the Life and Livelihood You Save May Be Your Own.

I did what you said and looked it up. You wrong my dude. Crime rate, gun crime, and violent crime are going down despite gun ownership and conceal carriers have skyrocketed.

Gun control in America started with and has almost always been related to Racism. Whether it be Jim Crow laws, safe storage or required education laws, or any others, if they were not created in relation to the prohibition of alcohol during the 1920’s, then they were created to, or have the added “benefit” to politicians of restricting access to weapons from poor minorities.

3%ers were here, Antifa was here, LGBT people were here, AND THEY WERE ALL GETTING ALONG BECAUSE THEY ALL UNDERSTOOD THAT GUN CONTROL IS MORALLY WRONG.

And if your argument for taking access away from citizens involves a fear of white nationalists, or if you like to speak about how Trump is a tyrant in the same breath you need to SHUT THE FUCK UP and study some history about what tyrants do to unarmed minorities.

Why do everyday citizens need assault rifles? The day that someone explains why a shotgun or a simple handgun are not sufficient.

Someone, please explain to me why military-grade weapons are in the hands of civilians. Is the solution to mass shootings happening in this country every year just everyone should have a military-grade weapon on them? Can anyone seriously say that any mass shooting in the last 10 years would have had the same damage if they had not had heavy-duty weapons?

Being pro-gun control doesn’t mean anti-gun. If I lived in the rural US and it took law enforcement 30 minutes or more to get to my home I would want a gun. If I were a trans woman in this country I would want a gun. But that gun shouldn’t be capable of mass destruction. The 2nd amendment protects an individual’s right to own firearms given in the context of late 1700′s bayonets and pistols. I seriously need a good explanation of how it protects an individual’s right to have bump stocks and AK-47s.

Semi automatic rifles are not capable of ‘mass destruction’. You’re thinking of high end artillery. A rifle is a personal weapon made to take out one individual combatant in front of you, that’s it. Any weapon is capable of killing dozens of unarmed people, and ARs are actually awful at it because they’re made for accuracy. Someone willing to kill dozens of people would use something either easily concealeable (so as to blend in with fleeing crowds and shoot them on the back), a shotgun, or a highly penetrative rifle. Most semi auto rifles aren’t capable of punching through a single drywall before the bullet tumbles and stops dead.

They work exactly like pistols in their action. Automatic rifles and machine guns have been banned since 1986, it’s been 34 fucking years. There are no actual assault rifles that aren’t expensive as shit (think 40.000 bucks for one) on the hands of citizens.

Also claiming things are “military grade” means nothing. “military grade” things are made by the lowest bidder, they’re only done with enough quality to last a few years before failing miserably in some manner.

If that was true the first amendment would only apply to printing presses. And in that time, semi automatic weapons existed, they were rare but one of them was used to explore part of the west. Repeating weapons were starting to get developed and used further, they knew there would be more powerful and faster firing weapons back then.

Stop assuming pioneers and inventors of old were stupid.
