Hello all. I know it’s an interesting time with a plague and everything being on fire, but time waits for no one, and I’m about done with project “get more readers.”
It has, to be frank, gone less well then I would have hoped. Partially because it’s just hard to get readers, and partially because all the webfiction sites on the net are catered to 145 chapter fictions that can slowly build a readership. I’ve just now breached the time and vote requirements to even get a chance of appearing on Royal Road’s lists. And even then it’ll be hard to make it anywhere visible.
So for those of you who’ve read my work previously and think highly of it (or mediocrely of it. Fair is fair) it’d help me out if you tossed a rating my way. I understand it’s a pain and all so don’t feel bad if you skip. But I feel I need to put the info out there for those that do want to give me the boost. Thanks all.

I call these ‘daily’ but the odds of me actually writing something shareable every day are pretty damn low. Luckily I have a few days of buffer from before I started posting these, so here’s something I cooked up earlier to make up for the fact I’m overloaded today!
Another day, another scrawling. This one’s a bit more personal admittedly - as some people might know I’m back on my gender-questioning bullshit. This was sort of a wish-fulfillment scenario I wrote to get my feelings out, so...yeah.

So it’s been a longass time since I really worked on writing, and I’ve been trying to de-rust for a week or so. I’m trying to make a habit of writing something short every day to get some practice and experiment with concepts. The Eirin/Mystia story I posted a few days back was one of those exercises, and I figured I may as well post more to see if I can get any sort of readerbase to boost my motivation.
It’ll likely be a mix of original and Touhou content, focusing more on original work. Besides that it’ll be whatever I feel like on the day so basically anything goes. Characters may reappear, but since this is all experimenting they might change drastically across stories.
With all that out the way, here’s what I came up with today:

let’s say they’re making a new touhou fighting game with a new engine, which means new roster, and you get to decide what it is.
the boss is a new character, of course, but aside from that you get 15 slots. it can be anyone you want. it doesn’t even have to have reimu and marisa, but you do have to have a “main character”.
can you come up with a roster with a satisfying balance of iconic/popular characters and left field picks, as well as a good spread of playstyles?
make a list and show your thought process. points for including details about how characters play.
