so someone brought up the whole ‘split’ thing of the otherkin community and it made me realize that I’m still pretty upset about it. Like, guys we should be mature enough to not do this. It’s like kicking each other in the shin and then sitting in a corner stewing before something worse happens. Sorry to bother you, but what is a starseed? I've seen it a few times, but have no clue what it means.
A starseed is a person whose soul originated off-planet, and sometimes in a different dimension or plane of existence.
Starseeds were given a human lifetime (or several lifetimes) for various purposes including but not limited to: observation, learning experiences (either educational, curiosity, and depending on what you believe, punishment can be a factor), spiritual (or any other type of self-) growth, or to assist others with their purposes here. These are called by some their “soul mission”.
The starseeds who have been given human lifetimes to help others are called Lightworkers. There are two major kinds of lightworkers; Healers and Guardians. As the names suggest, healers are kind, gentle, and patient— they’re here to heal the energies of the earth, the astral planes, and of humanity as a whole or on an individual scale; Guardians defend those healers and other starseeds, and aren’t always as kind as the Healers.
