So I've recently discovered that I was godkin. I am a major god of two things. I also discovered that I am a god of witchcraft and sorcery. Do most divine have 1-2 things they rule over? Am I just unusual because I rule over 2 dominions?
It completely depends on you and what you are. From what I've seen from the divine communities on tumblr, presiding over 1-3 things is pretty common.
Hi! I recently discovered the existence of Otherkin through YouTube.While the whole concept still comes off as a bit odd to me,I won't criticize anyone for who they are. However, I recently read about how a man, who's Therio-type was wolf,working at a grocery store. After experiencing an involuntary shift and growling/ snarling at customers, he explained to his boss, who gently suggested that this job may not be for him. He called this "oppression", and deemed it "sickening". Is this fair?
He sounds like a wolfaboo, honestly. Lifestylers are more other-hearted than otherkin. Either way, if he is snarling and getting angry at customers, a job in customer service probably is not for him.
i feel like i could be angelkin or catkin, but i'm too afraid to reach out for much help because i'm afraid of backlash from all the hate surrounding the otherkin community. is there any advice you could give me?
If you think you may be an incarnate angel, I suggest looking into and possibly joining the starseed community first! The starseed and otherkin communities are very seperate, although both are nonhuman communities, and a lot of incarnate angels find themselves feeling more comfortable in the starseed community than with otherkin. Of course, you don't have to join any nonhuman community if you're afraid of backlash, or you can choose to join it but stay pretty under the radar. Ultimately, the decision of what to do is up to you!
Hi! Would you happen to know where cupcake-kin went? Sweet seemed very nice, and ever since I accepted myself as otherkin, I wanted to be mutuals with sweet, but sweets account seems to be nonexistent! Did sweet move URLs, or did sweet just leave?
Sweet decided to delete their blog a while ago after becoming exasperated with all the hate sweet was getting. I was an acquaintance of sweets and I really hope sweet comes back to Tumblr sometime!
so i think i might be a multiple system but is it possible to have a multiple system in the sense of just feeling their presence and something they narrate your life?

No, there is no majority consensus in the LGBT community about others using the phrase 'coming out' which originally refers to the phrase 'skeletons in your closet' as in, a secret you are keeping, likely because its socially taboo.

ahh hi, sorry and i hope this isnt offensive, but i was looking at one of the asks you answered and say that you referred to someone telling people they're otherkin as "coming out" and it would kind of be preferred if you not use that term? mostly bc of its heavy association with the lgbtqia+ community and how it kind of undermines how big of a thing it is for non-cishet people to come out, since otherkin dont rly experience actual discrimination or anything for their identity.

Other-hearted means you identify WITH something, not AS that thing. Other-hearted: I'm like a cat! Otherkin: I am a cat!
For the whale shark anon: I'm a blue shark therian with the same problem. There just isn't a lot out there for sharks. I did join a forum site, TheQuietGrove, where people are pretty cool. It is small, but it's a nice place to talk about kin things and such. Hit me up.

What type of synesthesia do you have?
I see different colors at different depths. White and black are constants and at the same level, blue is farther back than white and purple is between blue and white. Neon colors all jump forward, most pastel colors are juuuust a little bit closer than white, red is the closest to me than any of the other colors, and yellow is just behind red a bit. There's a lot more, but yeah that's the gist!It really, really messes with my depth perception. I can still tell depth of objects by shade and relation to other objects, but if something very close to me is the same shade of red as something very far away from me, they look the same distance from me. Our advice would be to look for resources on a more broad scope. Try to find something for aquatic kintypes, for example.

Well, I feel the same way. Though, I do have a suggestion. If you can’t find any sites with recources of your Theriotype, make your own! You can help many others with your same Theriotype.

For the clownkin: pierrot dolls? I always saw clowns as like giant dolls, so maybe they could look into being dollkin

We have made the decision to remove our blacklist. It was several months out of date and many of the blogs on it are no longer around.
We will still issue community warnings if any hate, troll, or anti-otherkin blogs become prominent and problematic.

hej idk this might sound silly, but do you think clownkin can be/is a thing? or rather fictionkin and then find a clown character??
If you feel it, then it’s a thing. If the clown character you’re identifying as is fictional, you would be primarily fictionkin and your secondary kintype would be clownkin, if you wanted to use that term.
In my opinion, clowns are human, and therefore you technically cannot have them as a kintype. A fictional clown as a fictotype maybe, but not clowns in general.
While we definitely agree with that, we also took into consideration how much clowns are othered in society. A lot of people don’t see clowns as human, and there’s a lot of stories (mostly of the horror genre) that portrays clowns as their own creature or some kind of monster-like entity.
