hi guys !

maybe some of you have seen it already but seunghan is not going to participate in the upcoming cb either. most briize have agreed to boycott the cb, and i’m one of them.

i love riize a lot, and boycotting the upcoming cb doesn’t mean that i will unstan them or anything – no, it means that i choose to stand with seunghan & justice. if sm finally provides a statement about seunghans well being & his position in the group, that’s when i will enjoy the cb again but as long as that doesn‘t happen, i’m going to boycott and i urge everyone to do the same.

i’ve been kind of busy these days which is why i haven’t uploaded anything, but i have some fics ready so i’ll upload them eventually. right now, i think i need to take a little break from riize (and it’s purely SM‘s fault.. i absolutely hate that i have to do this because i really do want to support the members..).

i don’t think i will stop writing about riize, but i can’t promise that i’ll be doing it anytime soon.. i guess for me writing about them is part of the boycott?

i will get back to it at some point, so pls be patient with me. also, i really hope you guys join the boycott.

riize isn’t riize if it’s not with all 7 of them.

Sometimes I open Ao3 as one would a fridge in the middle of the night. Hungry, but not willing to commit to anything that is in there and hopping a miracle will make something new and appetising appear out of thin air if only I close it and open again.

FYI this isn’t about seunghan smoking and having a gf predebut. The industry and SM specifically have well known idols found smoking and proven to have had gfs even after debut. People acted outraged after that pic of jungwoo smoking, and he’s thriving.

SM is scared of what the leaker has threatened (I’d imagine they even got calls from other agencies pressuring them to appease the leaker, lest THEIR idols get exposed).

I like RIIZE, but I’m a grown, mature kpop fan who’s been around the block. So I’m not gonna act like I personally know seunghans character. None of us really do. But SM basically being RANSOMED by a leaker and giving in to them over a cigarette and a gf is wild. And it sets a terrible precedent in an industry that ALREADY gives fans and antis too much power. Unless the leaker has some REALLY bad stuff we don’t know about.
