The trouble with poets is that they say lies so prettily that we tend to start believing them.
Plenty of pictures of you and I in front of mountains and rivers and lakes and ruins and forests and beaches and skyscrapers and churches and sunsets but when I’m old and almost gone the only picture I’ll care for is the shitty closeup of you and I in the kitchen.
How about we foster a culture where compliments to strangers are commonplace?

Bread and Bleeding

Honest Wage. We were honored to make some new friends and shoot a live performance video in Virginia while we were in the area. It was an incredible time. By the end of the day we somehow had made it to a bounce house - people jumping off the roof onto it, catching footballs. It was unforgettable. Can't wait to go back both for the friends and the bounce house. Hope you enjoy.

"Sometimes folks you love tell you extremely difficult things about yourself, and not in the midst of an argument either. I love you regardless and I mean that. ‘Bread and Bleeding’ is about the aftermath of hearing one of those really hard to digest things. It’s like the tiny explosion in your life that happens after a really loving ultimatum."
