To all my followers who are worried about school and life:

  • I almost failed math three times in junior high / high school
  • I never passed any AP exams
  • My SAT scores were mediocre
  • I was four different majors in college and still didn’t figure out what I wanted to do until I was about 26

Currently:

  • I have a Masters and am working on a second
  • I have a job I like in a field I love 
  • I am conversational in Japanese
  • I am aiming to save all the homeless queer youths in NYC

In short:

  • It is okay if you don’t know what you want to do right now
  • You will figure it out
  • Sometimes a random job will lead to a career
  • Sometimes you will only work jobs and never have a career– THAT IS FINE
  • In the long run, no one cares about your GPA
  • A good resume is important!!
  • You will be okay, I promise

Mystery of the Beautiful Hinatuan River That Appears to Have no Source

The Hinatuan River is a river on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It flows into the Pacific Ocean at Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The River is also referred to as the “Enchanted River” by many locals and tourists. Nicknamed the Enchanted River because of its unknown beginnings – starts from a 80 feet deep spring. It is called the “Enchanted River” because the water seems to magically flow without any source, as well as being so deep and blue. It is considered one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the Philippines.

The Beauty of the Last Agni Kai

The final showdown between Zuko and Azula remains one of the most beautiful scenes in Avatar: The Last Airbender and maybe even the follow up series The Legend of Korra.

I just love how the colours of their destructive firebending clash against one another and spiral across the air.
