hello im maya and im making a new pinned post to be your one stop shop introduction to me/my work!!

im a fat, queer artist and author best known for my size inclusive skirts with huge pockets, and other apparel.

as well as my my queer polyamorous fantasy/romance novel, spitfire, which im currently in the process of reworking with my editor. the original/“legacy” version is still available as a self published book on amazon, but once edits are complete i’ll be shopping it around to publishers.

i realize taking maya off social media can be concerning but we took her off because managing your own personal brand that's also an extension of you that's also your job that's also your company that you can't take a day off from for over ten years sucks

maya stepping away is a good thing, she's doing better than she's been in a long time and i no longer need to force her on a vacation somewhere without service against her will

they're doing better than the button-up clothes that's for sure

the picnic top will be made regardless. it's a lower price to make with a much much MUCH lower risk due to it being like a medium price point. we didn't really NEED to do preorders on it but decided to since it's different enough from our other stuff that we're not totally confident

i'm here to share some info on our button-up shirt and dress preorders!

as many of you already know, i lost my anti-preorder campaign due to the high minimum per design. there's been some confusion and uncertainty. carsyn's doing her best but preorders are overwhelming and i have some time today

SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS:

preorders are open NOW through may 12th!! 🎉

this launch includes our new organic cotton button-up shirts & dress in our funeral design, as well as a super cute picnic top in white and black colors.

sorry but im gonna be real obnoxious about these preorders. the order minimum for the organic cotton is VERY high for us and if we don’t get at least half that number in preorders it’ll really screw us over 🥲

right now it’s only available in the US market due to some fuckery with the service we use for international. hopefully the product should get approved (and therefor should show up in the store for non-US folks) in 48ish hours or so

they don't have a limit, it's just however tight that you choose to tie it! we also lengthened the waist tie another 6" (compared to the sample pics of maya), so you should be able to adjust it as you see fit. since it's a tie and not shapewear, the amount of cinch provided is whatever the difference you have between your bust and waist.

maya also has a 10 inch difference between her bust and waist size, so it fits and cinches well even with a larger bust size.

it's difficult to compare the measurements of the two since the picnic crop top is measuring the underbust, whereas the wrap top is measuring the waist.

since it's elastic, it's also sized a bit differently and large size differences like this can occur. so the small probably is accurate for your measurements.

omg don't even worry!! you have all the way until may 12th to snag that black picnic crop top hehe
