Before anything else ( BAE? really, Sue? hahaha ) lemme just start off by saying that -- No matter how busy I get I just cannot stop blogging anymore hahaha Not that I wanna, I actually love it! It only means I really do love blogging! Oh whale. Hahaha ^^ A lot of things have been going on with my life lately, like what I always say, I’d always compare my life to a book in which God is the writer. I intend to enjoy every page of it and so the goings on in my life? I’m thankful for all of them ^^ So far for the past few weeks / months (? has it been that long since I last posted anything? hahaha ) I have...

  • survived summer school! I thought I’d die of boredom to be honest hahaha but nooo I actually had fun all throughout. :D We had demo teachings here and there so it wazzz challenging, plus I learned quite a lot from my teachers so awesome!
  • gone to Iloilo City as a reward for surviving summer school yay! Hahaha I was just there for 5 days and spent most of my time meeting friends, family.

of course my visit to Iloilo wouldn’t be complete without meeting with my bestfriend and spending time with her and her family too :) I slept in their house most of the time. ^^

  • had two exciting activities while I was in Iloilo such as having a fun shoot with a pro photographer, Deneb Gela and being taught how to do calligraphy and watercolor painting by my very good friend, Nang Angging Vallejo. :D It was such an awesome experience! So far I’ve been writing names and painting random objects like flowers and cacti haha I love how imperfect a watercolor painting can be and actually still look cute!

I hope to get better at this ^^ I keep making weird looking lines at times hahaha Oh well, there’s no harm in being a beginner, right?! :D

  • celebrated 3 years in Baguio! Yeap, time indeed is very fast haha Loving every bit of my stay in this city. I’ve met the best friends one could ever have. I’ve become more appreciative of the little moments and it’s the best feeling in the world :) I just like moments when I can have my peaceful moments, with my coffee ( sometimes with a book ) and my cat, Latte.
  • had my birthday! I didn’t have a big celebration or anything of that sort but it was special still.. ^^ I wish my family and boyfriend were here in Baguio to celebrate it with me though.. Oh whale, in time we will all be together again. For now, I’ll enjoy their company in my heart.

( photo below was taken a few days before my birthday by my amazing sister who will be leaving to be with her husband in America pretty soon, and by pretty soon I mean next week! Awww. Will I survive the single life? hahaha we’ll see! )

As of the moment our class has started again! Thank God I only have one year left before I graduate, for reals this time hahahaha ^^ So far that’s all that’s really been going on lately.. Life is still good because God is!

HOW FAR I’LL GO  ♡

It’s not a secret that I soooo love Moana ( the movie ) and all its characters *hahaha* and so I’ve decided to make a cover of its ost since some people have been requesting for me to do it too. So yayyy.. Here’s my own version with a piano instrumental.. ^^

I’m not really a crafty person but sometimes I try hahaha.. With the help of google and pinterest, sometimes I’m able to make successful D.I.Y. projects like these. ^^ Since I’m an island girl and loves to be reminded of our beloved island all the time, I looked for a way for me to preserve the sand and shells that I got from my Grandpa’s beach.. Luckily, I found just the right way to do it!

Yesterday since I was stuck all day because I was sick, I decided to get crafty. Just a couple of bottles and a polaroid photo of me on the island did the trick! Hehe.. Yeeeaaaap, I’m so satisfied with the outcome! I am loving it. <3 also, that brown flower jar’s a DIY jar too. Hehe. I made it yesterday as well. ^^ Making diy projects make me happy, it always saves me from boredom and idleness ( ano daw? hahaha )!

Summer 2017 Starter

Oh my. I don’t even know how to start this blog post.. Hahaha. Like for reals, reals this was the best thing that happened to me this entire May! :) After being sooo so stressed with all the final requirements and final exam, I was finally able to go home to the island!!! It’s pretty awesome cause I left Baguio exactly the day after the last day of exams! It felt goooood walking out from the last exam knowing that I’d be traveling the next day!

So yeah, I left on a Saturday ( May 13th ) and traveled to theee islaaaand~ Home sweet home! It was suuuchhh a looong journey and I was alone but it was awesooome. IDK about you but I so love traveling alone. There’s something magical about it, I swear there is. Haha. There’s something about it that makes me wanna do it again and again.. And no it’s not about soul searching or searching for myself or whatever hahaha The experience I’m talking about is different, it involves freedom and adveeenture. Yay! Thoooooo I’m not much of a traveler, haha If I were rich, MAYBE!!! ^^

Anyways the goal was to chill on the island.. And chilling was all I did.. It was just perfect as I needed some destressing! I stayed all week at my Grandma’s and would go to my Grandpa’s beach whenever I could to just relax, watch my nephews and cousins swimming, take pictures and have my photos taken as well. :) Of course, my Mom took my photos.. All of them! Hahaha She’s 60 years old by the way! She awesome, I know ;)

I just wanted to wear comfortable clothes the whole time I was on the island. Hahaha. :) Just like that one whole day I literally just wore a big white t-shirt. Hahaha.. But yeah, I like to accessorize if that ain’t obvious. Hehe

Mom was just regaining her photography skills here.. Hahahaha.. At least that’s what she said. Hahahaha.. Yay Mama! :D I love that woman! hahahaha

One of the best things I did on the island was going boating with my sister! We went to Uncle Cesar’s beach and swam. Huhuhuhu the water was sooo nooice I almost died of happiness hahaha

Those photos were taken using my sister’s Go Pro. :)  I actually did Moana’s “way finding” pose and posted it on facebook but made it black and white because I wasn’t wearing my high-waisted shorts in that photo uhhhmm too much skin me no likey hahaha ^^

When I’m on the island I would always go to the lighthouse.. I totally totally love it after all! ^^ I took some snaps while there. I only used my phone though but oh whale ^^

Oh my dear lighthouse huhu This photo makes my heart happy! I have a dream of getting married on here because I love this place so much.. Too many memories since childhood!

The next photo is one of the best photos I have probably ever taken with my phone! It was not the gear it was just the moment! Amaaaziing.

Let me tell you a secret.. *ehem* hahahaha... This is the part of the lighthouse where I would want my wedding reception to be.. Yeaaaap.. I already think about it, heck, I even know what music should be played while I march. HAHAHAHA.

I totally dig the vintage / rustic feels at the lighthouse I sweaaaar.. Every corner is IG worthy Just like this cracked wall for example! hahahaha But you know, I have to leave spots for the coming yearssss aha! ;)

PS. It was so hot on the island I had to wear short shorts all the time! Normally I wouldn’t wear them here in Baguio ( or if I would, I’d wear stockings with them ) but on the island shorts are a must-wear! Speaking of which, those shorts I’m wearing in this photo are like over 3 years old so yeah hahaha I love ‘em! Perfect for almost anything! Plus the holes make it fresh hahahaha jkjk

I’d always have awesome moments at my Grandpa’s beach! It’s not the best beach on the island buuuut it’s good enough! The white sand alone is a beauty.. Plus the beautiiiiful view of the sunset is wallpaper perfect :)

( Photos below ) Yaaas that’s my Grandpa’s beach still.. I love it!!!! I wish someday I could go camping there with my friends or something.. We’d have barbecue, I’d sing them songs and many more! Oh wheeen? If only the island were a bit closer haha

Ohhhh and by the way! Did I tell you that the island’s lighthouse has the coolest view of the island on top?? Yeap! Here are some photos to prove that ;) Maaan, this island is all in one! How can anyone not fall in love with it?

Sadly those photos were only taken with a phone.. Hahaha nevertheless you can still see the awesome view of the island! :)

These are just a few of the photos I took / my mom took on the island.. ^^ Some photos I just wanna see in private, specially those intimate and candid moments with my family..The kind of photos I would wanna treasure foreva. <3

I am Prinsesa Tarhata

Whenever I am at home on the island it’s not a new thing for me to hear my aunts, cousins, siblings and grandparents calling me “Prinsesa Tarhata” as an endearment.. I mean, I’ve always been called that by my late grandpa. ^^ He was the one who gave me that title so my closest family members still call me that up to this day. Haha.. Sometimes they just call me Princess, or Princess T.

Actually, on my first morning on the island I woke up to the voice of my uncle saying to my mom, “bugtaw na prinsesa ta?” which means “is our princess awake yet?” and I was smiling tho super sleepy because it meant I was really on the island. hahaha.. ^^ I just love it ^^

And since I was on the island and it’s surrounded with beautiful scenery I thought, hey! Why not have a prinsesa tarhata themed shoot? Hahaha.. So yes, I told my mom about le plan and one morning we made time for it! All photos were taken by my mom but were post processed by me.. ^^ Thanks Ma!

No one can ever go wrong with a flower crown and a white dress I swear. ^^ In my case it wasn’t really a dress that I wore.. It’s my mom’s blouse.. her suggestion! Hahaha.. I love how everything turned out ^^

Totally totally loving the pinks and yellow greens! If someone would ask me what my favorite shoot was I would say, this! ^^

And the fact that the place is just at the back of my grandpa’s house is aweeemazzziiinggg! My eyes and heart were so full :)

The island people call this flower “cadena de amore” in other words, chain of love. Sounds perfect! Also, I posted some of these photos on facebook and mom gained “fans” for her photography skills hahaha She felt goood about it. hahaha Mama. :)

I have always been fond of taking photos of people, places and moments and as you all know, it’s something that I do for fun alone :D Yes, I try to take as nice photos as possible but I totally do not aspire to be better than anyone, nor to be the best in this field. However, being appreciated for something that I love doing is quite a good feeling! ^^ Specially when someone tells me that my photos inspire them ( or even make their day ), ahhh it’s just so heartwarming! It gives me so much joy.. ^^

Speaking of my love for photography, I just want to share a fun photography experience I had in our school. HAHA! That sounds a bit weird but whatever. I’m a blogger not a writer. Huehue. Soooo yeah, I got featured in our university’s official website! I got featured as a photographer and Fred, a classmate and friend got featured as a model! Check the whole post here:

Making Memories of Us

I have always loved the idea of taking photographs not only for the aesthetic side of it but to capture moments I would love looking back to in the future. If you have been reading my blog for some time now you would have already known as well that that’s the main purpose of this blog. There’s something fulfilling about being able to preserve little pretty moments, I just really fancy that idea which is whyyy I just cannot not take out my phone / camera to capture places, people, moments and everything in between whenever I have the chance to do so. That’s just me. ^^

Last weekend just happened to be a very memorable weekend for me but even more memorable for my bestfriend, Jessa. It was her graduation day last April 22, 2017 reason why I traveled all the way from Baguio to Iloilo. :) Before I could even reach Iloilo I was already imagining everything I’d be doing there, from eating baked talaba, to taking photos with Jessa, attending her graduation, and roaming around the city! I did them all. Hahaha.. I did not miss a chance. ^^ It’s not all the time that I get to have a break from the usual life I have in Baguio ya know, haha. Not saying I’m tired of life here in Baguio, just saying being able to travel is a privilege I have to enjoy! Specially since it’s sponsored by Mama Jiji, my bestfriend’s Mom. Hahaha.. :>

On Jessa’s graduation day, we started the day with a mini reunion over coffee and talks. It was sooo awesome to be with her again, we always have something to laugh our hearts out about. Hahaha. Oh whale. ^^ And then after coffee-ing she headed to school for their mass while I wait for her at their house where I stayed for the entire weekend.

I really wasn’t plannin on having this photo taken but Jessa’s younger sister had me do it hahaha She’s only like 7 years old. Hahaha. Love that girl..

As soon as Jessa came back she had her makeup done by a makeup artist while I watched at the corner and tried to get tips from it haha. :D Then we headed to Esplanade for a very short fun shoot before the graduation ceremony. Here are some photos I took of her. She’s just as lovely as usual!

Then we proceeded to the university and thankfully I was able to capture a few graduation photos despite the big event being very crowded hahaha I love Jessa’s smiles here! Ngiting tagumpay!

She was actually laughing so so hard because I was cheering for her like a crazy lady hahaha I was like “There she is!!! Woooo! Go Jessamemooch!! Go Jessa! Go Jessa! Go Jessa!” hahahaha Yes, I know! I’m sucha bff goal joke hahahaha of course we had some photos of us taken on her graduation too but this one is personally my fave!

Huhu.. I miss this girl already, uff. I wish Iloilo were closer to Baguio! Plane tix are darn expensive hahaha..

After the graduation ceremony we headed out to Smallville 21 for dinner, best part of the day! Haha Just kidding! I mean the food was good but the best part about that day was really seeing how happy Jessa was and me feeling all happy for her too. Huhuhu. She deserved it for sure. I know how she struggled for that diploma hahaha <3

The next day we spent the entire day catching up over food and coffee. We hadn’t seen in each other since last December so there was a loooot of catching up to do hahahahaha My instagram stories was filled with all that. Oh boy I was having too much fun. :D

You know when they say we should all have that friend who’s willing to take photos of us while we ain’t looking? Hahaha That’s sooo true to me. :D I’m so lucky to have Jessamemooch! The girl knooowsss :>

But of course I took photos of her too! She’s just effortless sometimes I hate her for it!!! Naaah, I’m kidding haha Not that kind of friend tbh hahaha

Now for my favorite part! Festive walk ~ Well it was def an eye candy, loved every corner of it since it’s the mixture of vintage and pastels. Hahaha. Kinda reminded me of Venice Piazza in BGC but I would say it’s a better place to visit simply because it’s not crowded at all! I really cannot enjoy a place if it’s too crowded. Hehe.

While we were there we stayed at Dulgies cafe and chatted for some minutes while we waited for the sunset! We heard the place looks magical during sunset so we were eager to wait for it and then take pics hahaha.. Was it worth the wait? Definitely! It’s just as pretty ( if not, prettier ) in person!

Ahh yeah, one more thing! I met with Nang Angging, a close friend of mine of more than 8 years while we were at Festive Walk! She gave me handmade gifts made by herself and they were love!!! She gave one to Jessa too. She’s the sweetest!

Photo on the bottom right is a photo of her work with my name and fave verse in it! Follow her and see some of her amazing work on instagram it’s @anggingvallejo.. :)

It was just soooo nice to have a weekend off! I owe all of this to Jessamemooch and her family. Shout out also to Bangers and Bonbon, ( my cousin and nephew ) for the baked talaba treat! and Tatay Ming, Nanay Lorns, and En-en ( uncle, aunt and cousin ) for the lovely dinner before I left Iloilo and for taking me to airport late at night. ^^ Love you all!

“No one has ever become poor by giving” that’s one of my favorite quotes! It simply speaks to me in a very personal level. ^^

Now I believe this is quite a delayed post. The thing is.. I was gonna cancel making this post because, well, remember my SD card being corrupted? haha.. Yes that.. It made me kinda lose my will to write about this event in my life but what are words for if you can’t use them to paint a photo? Hehe. At least I got one ( photo above ) as a remembrance of last December’s gift giving to the island kids. ^^

I’m so thankful this event pushed through. I didn’t really have enough funds for this activity when I thought about it but thank God an idea came to mind. ^^ I sold my formal dresses that I have worn not more than twice and that’s how I got to buy the toys for the island kids. ( I posted about when and how this started in a previous post so yeah I’m not gonna talk more about that in this post. Hehe..)

Coffee and Friends make up a good Saturday

Finally had the time to write about a recent meet up with three of my favorite people in Baguio! I’m talking about that Saturday I went out for some “kape” with Kristine, Grace and Michelle. ^^ I already made a post about Kristine before but if you haven’t read it, Kristine has been my friend for almost three years now. :) She’s one of my first few friends in Baguio that I still hang out with until today.. The girls crazy lovely! Hahaha.. Sucha lovely personality and full’a bubbliness! IDK if there’e sucha word but heyy whatever, I’m a blogger not a writer aha! Grace basically became my friend because of Kristine haha Tin introduced her to me and we just clicked! Michelle was my classmate during my first sem in UB and we’ve been hanging out since then. Kristine, Mitch and I were classmates and so yeah you got it huehuehue

Anyways, about out girl group ( lol that sounded like a female band haha! ), you gotta know it’s a crazy one.. When we’re together it’s all loud and being hyper! Hahaha so yeaaaahhh of course it was suchhhh annn amaiiiziing time to catch up, fool around and everything laid-back!

We decided to hang out at Cafe de Angelo Two // The Coffee Bar just because it’s the prettiest one among the list of cafes we planned on spending time at. It’s only my second time in TCB and it was just as awesome as the first time! I think the place got prettier tho ^^ They changed the paint, some decors and ahhh everything was just lovely for my eyes! Huhu Bliss! :)

That us! Hahaha.. I think we got the best spot mehehe Too cozy I so loved it. My heart was as happy as it can be! little things guys.. little things. <3

This is Grace. Uhm, she single. hahaha Love ya Gracey! xx

Aww every corner was instagram worthy.. Haha. I swear! Even the napkins, stirrers and straws hahaha Okay now what am I talking about ^^

If you’re ever wonderin’ what I’m drinking here... That’s Thai coffee! I chose it in honor of my close friend, Kirby, who’s currently in Thailand for his OJT hahaha I’m sucha thoughtful friend every person needs a Sue friend in their life huhu Just kidding! Hahaha..

HAHAHAHAHA okay, funny fact: The moment Michelle and I saw each other wearing the same shade of denim top, we were like “oh my goodness we look like we’re going to dance!!!” hahahaha and so yeap, it became a joke the whole time haha it happens hahaha :D

And now for some outdoorsy photossss.. Check out Cafe de Angelo’s alfresco.. Too nice! If it weren’t too sunny we would’ve stayed here but oh whale hehe No one was willing enough to get burned! nahh, not before summer even comes! Ehe ;)

We’re not exactly the type of people who’d take 1000+ selfies together.. No wait.. Maybe we are.. Are we? *mindblown* hahaha jk nahh, not really! Kind of.. Maybe hahahaha okay enough!

There she is! My crazy girl Kristine hahahaha :D Yeah you guys.. to say that I had an amazing time would be an understatement because oh my goodness, OH MY GOODNESS I had the time of my life! :) You see, for me what makes up a good life isn’t material things or money. It’s moments, and laughter, photos with stories, coffee, lovely people and everything in between! God has blessed me with those things <3 I am grateful for moments like this one.

Surprise Send Off!

You’ve probably read about Kirby in my previous post before but that was just about us taking photos for a school paper, this time, he is the star of this post! Hahahaha.. :) Well, Kirby is one of the very very few guy friends that I have. He’s the only guy member in my so called “TSPG” in other words “The Slawwwterhouse Project - Gang” -- my favorite people in Baguio aside from my sister and the three crazy girls, Kristine, Michelle and Grace. Hahaha. My circle in Baguio is pretty small. But you know what they say, quality > quantity!

Anyhow last night, the gang and I decided to surprise Kirby in one of our favorite coffee shops because he’s leaving for Thailand very VERY soon. awww. He’s going to teach in a school there as his OJT. We are already proud of him but now even prouder! ^^ Kirby had no idea we had prepared a cake with some cut outs and photos for him so when it was time for the cake to be served he was all “halaaaa grabe, hala Sueee hala” and everything hahaha His reaction was just priceless! I was so happy because he was really happy! :)

Kirby, you deserve it! Stop saying that you don’t. kkkk

This guy has such a big personality! He can make us ( Hazel, Icar and I ) laugh whenever he wants us to! No matter how stressed, tired or moody we are, he can always always make us laugh hahaha for reals :D He’s one of a kind!

Of course we had to have our group photo taken by one of the crew members of Beanstalk, our favorite coffee shop! The photo’s a little bit blurry but oh whale.. I still love it! After all, THE GANG IS COMPLETO!

IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING TIME. The last time we hung out altogether at a coffee shop was about two weeks ago. Or 3 weeks? Hahaha. It’s never boring with these three. They are the best people to be with whenever I want to chill and laugh and rant about whatever. Hahaha. We simply - click!

After hanging out at Beanstalk we decided to go to the Market Encounter to grab some more food hahaha Sadly Hazel had to leave because -- daughter duties. Hehe.. And since Kirby and I are both into having our photos taken we asked Icar to take photos of us while on our way to the Market Encounter hahaha.. It was a super chilly night by the way. My hands were so cold!

Out One Day

Okay so I’ve been staring at the screen of my computer trying to think of a good title for this post but oh darn it I’ll think of a good one later on.. Haha.. :)

I’ve been to La Union last year but we went to San Juan and Luna. Yesterday however I went to a part of La Union that I haven’t been to before. I went to San Fernando, La Union! And yes, I went there alone. ^^ I just thought I needed a break from the usual Saturday routine so yeap, I pushed for it. It would’ve been more awesome if my sister were with me but she had to work. :(

I woke up around 7 am to prepare for my trip. I curled my hair, put makeup on while I had my coffee and so on. Haha. I left the house at around 8:15 am so I couldn’t catch the 8 am bus to La Union. I was able to ride the 9:00 am bus then reached SF at around 11 am. :) Took a tricycle to Poro Point to check out the lighthouse and had some cool photos taken by Ferlyn, a long time facebook friend but now a legit friend who’s a local of La Union. Haha Love her shots! She immediately became friends with my camera. :)

I have some other photos on this area that I cannot post yet, for some reason. ^^ You will know by March. I will make a separate post for it hahaha weeee.

Aww but there was this part of the area that I really wanted to check out! The part with a cliff that has a view of a really nice beach but it was already closed. Awww. :/ Haha Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with the scene! I love lighthouses after all!

After the lighthouse we then headed to Poro Point’s Bay-walk.

upper photo: fail hahaha sometimes you just gotta. you know. hahaha

And theeen den den den we went to a part of the bay-walk with some pretty nice coralish beach hahaha

For a moment there I felt like I was on the island. Haha

Basically we just sort of stayed there for some time, talked, laughed about how we were so thirsty while at the lighthouse but didn’t have any water and so on.. Hahaha..

Next stop was “The Friendship Pagoda”.. It was overlooking the city of San fernando La Union so I loiked it!

Loved this scene! It felt so good up there. :) It was windy, cool and just relaxing! Although we walked and got tired it was all worth it. yay! Next photo was taken on the pathway to the pagoda. Probably one of my favorite picks! Thanks to Ferlyn. Haha

Then for my last stop, Ferlyn took me to “The Macho Temple”. I fell in love with the place! You see I always thought Chinese temples would be boring ( haha ) but this place was just... Beauuutiful. Loved the colors in it! I’m used to seeing just red themed Chinese temples like the one we have here in Baguio so it was a refreshing sight!

Okay I was seriously running out of poses hahaha It was a day of touring and taking photos and stuff like that hahaha and I’m no expert hahaha

And that’s how my day trip ended! It was a beauuuutiful time huhu hahaha I swear it was. I owe it all to Ferlyn for touring me and taking my photos! I wanted to take photos of her too but she said she wasn’t photogenic so she said no all the tiiiime. Haha. It was one of the best days of my life. <3 I can say it was a saturday greatly spent!

After two years

I’ve been living in Baguio for two years now and have always heard about the spooky ( closed ) hotel called Diplomat Hotel. It’s located in Dominican Hill. I wasn’t really driven to go to this place until one day, I saw some photos of an Aunt who visited Baguio from Bohol in the famous Diplomat Hotel. The building itself wasn’t really inviting for me. But! The view of Baguio City from the rooftop of it and this white gazebo surrounded by plants and trees were calling me. :) Weird. Hahaha..Anyways, I planned to go there first with my sister but we didn’t push through.. For some reason we just didn’t go for it. Sad life. Hahahaha.. Then I planned to go there with the gang ( my closest friends ) before Christmas break buuut didn’t push through either because the weather on the day we had planned to go there was just sooo so bad.

This year, however, in one of my subjects I was put in one group with Raul ( a bubbly, funny person ) and Fred. Every time we have group activities we’re supposed to be together all the time. Teacher’s orders. :D I told Raul about how I’ve always planned to go to Diplomat Hotel and he immediately suggested ( that was during an activity ) that we should go there and take photos! You know, for fun. And so we did. Hahaha.. I took photos of the two of them and Raul took photos of me. I must say it was a Saturday well-spent. And now, after two long years, I can finally say I’ve been to the Diplomat Hotel. :)

THE bench. Hahaha.. This part of Dominican Hotel lets you see almost the entire city of Baguio. Is it obvious that there are buildings at the back or.. Hahahaha

Now for my moments in theeee gazebo. hahaha.. I came here for this. Hahahaha no seriously! I figured I wanted a new profile photo because my hair is black now ( it’s a requirement huhu ) and in my profile photo on facebook I still have bloonde hair. I’m not maarte I swear.

I just love whites in photos! I find photos with lots of whites so refreshing! How about you?

It was fun! We would take turns in taking photos, I would take photos of Fred and Raul, Raul would take photos of Fred, Fred would take photos of me and Raul hahaha You get what I mean? yeah it was fun!

Next photo looks like a fail photo but I like it anyway! kkk

You guys uhm the inside of the hotel was kinda creepy. I actually didn’t want my photos taken in there. Hahahaha.. But Fred and Raul wanted to have their photos taken there though..

I wasn’t sucha big fan of it so I gave it a pass. Hehe. Then we went to some parts of the area ant took really random photos like the next set!

Be honest? Who has the best shot here? hahahaha just kidding. Don’t be sending me a message about it. hahahaha So yeap! I’m glad this was how I spent this day! Yehey. Next time again!

Island Girling

If someone were to ask me which part of Jintotolo Island has the best beach, I would always say “sa Cesar’s Beach”.. We’ve been calling it that since foreva. hahaha.. It’s cause this part of the island with the best sand is owned by Uncle Cesar Bacolod, my Mom’s first cousin.I only discovered how pretty Uncle Cesar’s beach was way back in 2009. *loser hahaha*

The fine sand and the greens in that area always amaze me! Sucha beautiful sight.. Always. It’s best to go there when it’s low tide because then you get to see the sand bars! But if you want to go swimming it’s perfect when the tide is hiiigh. <3 I remember going boating with my cousins to that area and swimming in the deep parts and it was just too bluuuuish green I loved it!

This time however the tide was low! We didn’t swim or anything, we just walked around and took photos. It’s my favorite hobby after all! :D

All of these photos except for one were taken with my sister’s go pro cam. Love theeeem!

But this one is my favorite among all of them! But just for the record, this was not Ellen Adarna inspired hahaha :D

I wish my best friend were with me when we took these photos but she left for Iloilo already awww. What do you think? Awesome beach righttt? Even the nonfiltered ones look totally totally awesome but I love how filters give emotions so sorry not sorry kkk :)

Family is forever

I know I already said that I always have such an amazzziiing amazing time when I’m with my family but sometimes I just can’t stop myself from saying it over and over again! Haha Family is love.. I do believe that when you have a good and loving family you basically have everything. I swearrrr.

I feel most loved when I’m surrounded with family.. So last Christmas break was just the best time of my life! Two weeks together wasn’t enough though. Huhu. I felt sad while traveling back to Baguio because I knew I was going to be missing them so much again but I was thankful that at least, even for a short period of time I got to be with them and have the most amazing time.

meet my Mama! Isn’t she beautiful? She’s already 60 years old, yes a senior citizen. I can’t believe it sometimes hahaha

That’s my Korean-looking sister hahaha I guess living in Korea for about 8 years made her kinda looking like them Korean ladies haha

Heeyyyy! :D That us! hihi If you want to take a look of the entire island of Jintotolo the top of the lighthouse is the best spot. :D

FAMILY PHOTO! :D With Mom and siblings! Only one sibling is not with us in this photo. She couldn’t make it to the Philippines for Christmas because she’s pregnant and about to give birth soon. Thank God for an amazing fam!

Jessa has been my favorite girl since 2012. I actually wrote about how friendship was formed here on tumblr in 2013 or 2014. ^^ I’m not gonna go back to that one. Haha. Oh but to those who haven’t read it, Jessa’s hometown is also Jintotolo Island but most of the time she’s in Iloilo because they have a house there ( which is also my second house hahahaha ) and she’s studying college in the University of San Agustin. When I was still living in Iloilo we would always hang out, she’d sleep in our place and me in their place and so on. Haha. However when I moved to Baguio the frequency of our meetings changed from like everyday to twice or thrice a year awww but thank God there’s facebook!!!

Well last Christmas we finally got to meet again! Good thing her family also celebrates Christmas on the island every year! YAY. So.. Before we even met we already talked about taking nice photos for us to keep! And yeap, here’s a compilation of our photos together. We didn’t have just one photographer btw. haha. it was just a matter of who was available and willing to take our photos using my cam.. Hahahaha.. In the first set, the photographer was my sister!

That’s Jessa’s dad’s mini yacht by the way. Awesome right?? Hahaha Photo opp for me because I don’t always get to ride it hahaha

incase you haven’t noticed, my hair is back to being butterscotch colored again.. Hahahah. I tell you, ashy hair is very hard to maintain! I just realized that so what I did was.. I just let my hair be. My boyfriend said it’s what suits me best though. I don’t know how true but I love it when he says stuff like that hahaha

I feel a lot younger whenever I’m with my bestfriend I swear ahahah Probably cause she’s a lot younger than me. haha!

darn it my hair’s too light hahaha It gave that summer feel though, at least that’s what I think.. ;)

Like what I said in my post last time, Jintotolo Island’s lighthouse is definitely a lighthouse to love!!! <3 We went there too and decided to have our photos taken by my 11 year old nephew this time hahahaha Photos are a bit blurry but I still love them!

twinning is indeed more fun!!! hahahaha and yeap, we actually planned what we were going to wear even before meeting hahaha we would send each other photos on messenger and be like “do you have something like this? no? can you buy one?” bla bla hahaha

It was all worth it!

The last time we had our photos taken here was in 2013!!! I even made a post about that one hahaha It’s still here I believe :)

Was thankful for my nephew for these photos, I mean my dslr was quite heavy for him but he still managed to take photos hahaha As for the last set *awwww* the photos were taken by my cousin’s brother-in-law HAHAHAHA! I know! I know, super random. Good thing my cam is good even in auto mode. Except that tumblr, as usual, changes the quality. I cries. kk

This time we were at Uncle Cesar’s beach ( Mom’s first cousin ) and I laaaaa love this place! We were hoping it would be low tide when we go there because that’s when we can walk on lots and lotsa shallow waters but unfortunately it was high tide! It’s still pretty though!

Gumamela flowers for the island girls! Hehe. Yeap, we’re island girls by blood! True story.

I love this girl! Too lovely inside and out!

so yeaaaah, I guess my post ends here. :) I so enjoyed being with Jessamemooch even behind the camera! She knows me too darn well. She’s also seen me in my ugliest, most disgusting, embarrassing moments and even more hahahahaha.. I cannot wait to see her in April! I will be attending her graduation. Yay!
