(OdahviingRP) Odahviing hadn't really expected much after his trip to investigate the borders of Akavir. Hot food and warm mead, a soft bed and his perfect wife alone with him for the night. That sounded good. Better than getting home to find Zoe and Beatrice doing a puzzle at the table, windows open to let in the spring breeze. While he doesn't love his daughter and sister, he was hoping for some alone time with Roxy and her lack of presence is confusing. "Where is Rosa?"

Zoe had gotten used to playing the Nanny for her sister, and actually enjoyed it a lot, although it meant spending less time with her family as they were out doing politics. Beatrice was a good kid, if occasionally a handful. She got it from her father.

“She’s still at Dragonsreach. Should be back any time.” Beatrice, in the meantime, wiggled herself off the bench and went running towards Odahviing.

Odahviing gives Beatrice a kiss on the cheek and a raspberry for good measure, smiling as she giggles. As soon as Roxy opens the door, stepping aside to let them out, all he sees is her. How the sun hits her hair, her bright smile at her family.
Her presence is enough for him to start physically reacting, the sight of her, so close, has him nearly breathless with desire and he knows she can feel it through their soul link, their Sil Gron.

Roxy had spent about an hour filling Balgruuf in on what was happening in the rest of Skyrim. The rest of the time was spent complaining about the rest of Skyrim. Well, she was complaining. At any rate, she was glad to be home, and glad to have some time to relax. She sends Zoe off with a wink, having caught wind of her sister’s romantic endeavors.

It had been a while since she and her husband had any kind of extended alone time, and she could feel how much he’d wanted her. She started pulling her boots off as soon as she walked in, hoping for a few quiet minuted before things got started. “How was Akavir?”

Odahviing steps over quickly when Roxy steps in and closes the door before rubbing her shoulders, pressing his thumbs into the tense muscles.

Growling gently, Odahviing nuzzles Roxy’s neck as he rubs her shoulders, nibbing gently at the skin.

“It was quiet, boring. Being home is much better.”

His hands slowly travelled down her arms, to her waist and Odahviing pulls his wife flush to himself, almost groaning against her neck.

“Switch with me? I’ll go wander the wastes and you can deal with politics. It will be great, I promise,” She groans, having known how tense she was and glad for some relief.

She embraces him, grinning. “Miss me?”

Odahviing snorts, kissing Roxy softly. “That is an understatement and you know it.”

He kisses her harder this time, waiting until she responds to lick her lip and suck it between his teeth, growling at the act and taste of her. He really, really missed Roxy.

Pulling back, he nudges her head gently to the side so he can treat her earlobe to the same as her lip. “I’d travel the stars and wonder if your smile is still as bright and splendid. I’d think of how we fought while watching outposts. I’d wonder if you missed me too.”

He grins against her cheek. “Do you want me to tell you about what I imagined as I hid in a cave, a meager tent and bedroll to keep me warm alongside my thoughts?”

Odahviing immediately scoops up Beatrice and plants a big wet smooch to her cheek, making her squeal and giggle while returning the favor. He gives Zoe a one armed hug before sitting down where Beatrice was, letting her get back to her game while sitting on his knee.

“What for this time? The jarl can’t tie his boots?” Beatrice looks at him, big eyes curious and innocent.

“Can the jarl really not tie his boots?” Odahviing smiles and ruffles her hair. “He can dear, it’s a joke. I’ll explain it later.”

“You know how it’s been. He wants an update on what’s happening in Eastmarch since the treaty was finalized. Apparently he can’t do it himself.” Zoe shrugs, “Farengar wanted to talk to me today about those concentrated healing potions I’ve been working on, too.” Plus, there was a Bosmer girl who had been chatting her up recently, and Zoe was hoping to run into her again. “She left a few hours ago, like I said, should be here any minute now.”

Odahviing nods, listening as Beatrice ‘hm’s and ‘ah’s as she does the puzzle, with them helping her. “Would you like to go with Aunty, malviing? We know you like to listen to Farengar’s stories.”

The girl looks at him with big eyes, pouting. “But you’ve been away for so long!” “It was just a few days.” “And I had another dream!”

At that Odahviing raises an eyebrow. The more prevalent her dreams of being a dragon -of flying- become, the closer she is getting to her training for her Thu’um. “That’s good, but try not to actually fly outside of your dreams, okay?”

She nods eagerly and Odahviing is glad for her distraction as he senses Roxy getting closer to the house. The feeling of his love so close has his skin tingling and fingers twitching.

“She’s been having a lot of those dreams lately,” Zoe says, gathering her research on healing potions, “She smacked me in the face last night, in fact.” Beatrice giggles, “Thankfully she doesn’t hit as hard as either of you, yet.” Zoe knew that, while any offspring of her sister’s would be powerful, the dragon blood would make them even more so. It was no wonder that the Dominion kept trying to get informants on Beatrice’s growth. “Come on, Bea, let’s let him rest up for a while.”

It was then that Roxy finally made it home.

Odahviing gives Beatrice a kiss on the cheek and a raspberry for good measure, smiling as she giggles. As soon as Roxy opens the door, stepping aside to let them out, all he sees is her. How the sun hits her hair, her bright smile at her family.

(Odah) With Roxy on his arm, Odahviing might have enjoyed this event that Ulfric is holding. Though he pouts at Roxy when she smacks his hand away from his 5th sweetroll. "But they're so nice." He whines, steering them away from another stuffy noble.

“I know, but you could also try to keep up appearances. And you’ll make yourself sick.” A polite smile, a nod, Roxy was getting used to mingling with Skyrim’s oft-changing nobility. “Besides,” She drops her voice a bit, “He’s hiding something. We need to find out what.”

For his own sadistic purposes, Odahviing flies over the city. The flight home is quick and uneventful, the day warm and lacking all but good updrafts for him to laze on.

Landing near Whiterun, at a patch of rock and dirt that seems to be more bare than it used to, Odahviing lets Roxy down before he changes and scoops her up.

“Shall we return to our home, my lady?” He hopes that Zoe has taken Beatrice out, as he struts into the city with Roxy in his arms. He’d rather like to spend his last night of anonymity in his wifes arms.

Roxy sighs, a little annoyed with Odahviing’s showboating, but she’s too tired to scold him for it. Not when there’s little time left for the two of them to get some peace and quiet. She’s sure they’ll be summoned back to Windhelm within the week. Dragonsreach, too. Though she’s long assumed that Balgruuf knows.

So Roxy smiles and lets herself be scooped up, “Yes, let’s go. Our last night of peace awaits.”

They get a few stares and waves, some with friendly smiles, on their way to the house.

As Odahviing hoped, Beatrice and Zoe are out and he lays Roxy on their bed before taking her shoes off and rubbing her feet. “I’m glad you don’t wear those long spikey heeled shoes. Or delicate slippers. At least not much.”

After her feet, Odahviing moves to rubbing her ankles, kissing the top of her foot. “Zu’u lokaal hi.”

Odahviing groans in gratitude. “Could we have some sweetrolls when we get home?”

If they can even get to their door. He changed basically in front of a city during a big party. If all of Skyrim doesnt know by tomorrow that the Dragonborns lover is the dragon she trapped, he would be surprised.

Lowering his head, Odahviing nudges Roxy gently. “We may get more visitors. That damnable mage being one of them.”

“You can have all the sweetrolls you want. News about you will travel faster than the news about Beatrice did.” Roxy moves to climb on top of him, eager to leave as quickly as possible.

“I’ll deal with him, we need to leave, now.” Was that Ulfric’s voice calling out? Either way, she wasn’t about to talk to anyone.

Yolloktanz growls low in her chest, rumbling as she thinks. When Dragonrend wears off, she repositions her wings and Odahviing braces to move, just in case she disagrees.

“I am not the strategist Odahviing is. Even I can see the sense in your words.” She turns and looks at the gathering crowd attempting to hide.

“You could go to Monahven where Paarthurnax will care for you and assist you with learning of this new world.”

Yolloktanz looks back to Odahviing and Roxy, clearly defeated. “Zu'u vust ni daal wah ven do dovah. Paarthurnax ahrk Zu'u neh kosov pruzah. Zu'u fund mindos naalein fah tiid.”

She nods. “Drem yol lok.” and takes off, flying over the east mountain range, deep in thought.

“Take your time, I don’t have any grudge against you,” Roxy says, feeling as though a weight’s been lifted off her shoulders. They might not see Yolloktanz for a long while, but she’s sure the next time would be under better circumstances.

The crowd is another story, and the fact that she had just freed the dragon from serving Ulfric without so much as a thought. Thankfully, he wasn’t there yet. “Odahviing, let’s leave before he starts asking questions.”

Yolloktanz tilts her head, growling softly. “You want to talk. So talk.” She rears up, nostrils flaring. “Or did you want only to torment me with my lost mate?”

Odahviing growls softly, refusing to be baited.

“Look, as far as I’m concerned this whole situation is Ulfric’s fault. You could say that about a lot of things, actually,” Roxy begins, “And I get it, you woke up after a few thousand years and suddenly your old mate is with the Dragonborn. That can’t have been very nice for you. But what do you think killing us would get you? If I died he’d never forgive you, and if he died, you wouldn’t live to realize it happened. The only good outcome for this is if you leave right now. Especially since the absolute last thing Skyrim needs is a dragon listening to Ulfric.”

She hisses at Roxy. “We are not talking already?” Her common is rough and clearly unused.

It’s simple for Odahviing to catch Yolloktanz’ tail, and to glide down to the frozen river. They land without grace and Odahviing is quick to check Roxy for injuries.

He looks to Yolloktanz who growls, though she remains still. “Fos ahvakaar do Thu'um los tol?”

They land hard, and Roxy’s thrown a few feet, but she’s otherwise unhurt. Yolloktanz is still bound by Dragonrend, giving Roxy enough time to figure out what to say.

“It’s the Shout that was used to fell Alduin. We need to talk.”

Odahviing nods,  flattening out to fly under Yolloktanz, glad for his superior skills in the air. She’s the better fighter, he’s the better flyer.

An updraft is all Odahviing needs to come close to Yolloktanz, and he tilts his head to get his horns out of the way. Only once before has Roxy missed her mark with Dragonrend and hit him, and it ended with them both falling into the lake by Falkreath. Much to the amusement of Beatrice and Zoe.

“JOOR ZAH FRUL!” This time, Roxy hits her mark. “Odah! Get her outside the city!” Looking down, too many people were still outside, trying to watch. They could talk away from the crowd, hopefully Yolloktanz would feel less like a spectacle that way. If she would even talk to them.

“I’m not killing her,” She says, “Let’s try something else first.”

[[ Okay, I am on pc. I know your predicament, as I’ve had a lot of partners go inactive as well. Anyway. You already know @halfbred-battlemage up there. *waves*

I’ll not link to my own blogs fyi(I’ve not been overly active anyway) Bare in mind that I am bad with lists and am not too much into the shipyard, and that some are off for the holidays. Odahviing yells in pain when Yolloktanz claws catch his wing and he kicks out with his feet, hooking on the scars across her belly.

They tumble towards the ground, snapping at each other and Yolloktanz continues to try and guilt him; asking how he could betray her and their childrens memory.

Detangling, Odahviing evens out to fly low over the city, zeroing in on Roxy. “DOVAHKIIN!” He wont have the strength to defeat Yolloktanz on his own, and once they do, he wants her soul laid to rest.

Roxy doesn’t even stop to think before she’s jumped out the window onto Odahviing’s neck. She knows he’ll catch her. She does, however, take a look at the damage, and fumes.

JOOR ZAH FRUL!” She wouldn’t kill Yolloktanz if she could help it. Odahviing lost her once already, she wasn’t about to make him do it again. But damned if she wouldn’t learn a thing or two about messing with the Dragonborn’s family.

Odahviing banks hard to avoid crashing into the castle and then the city, bringing his head back slightly more than usual to give Roxy his horns to hold onto as he flies to avoid Yolloktanz.

He bursts fire at her face, rolling so she crashes into his claws, keeping Roxy out of harms way, even when they disengage and Yolloktanz tries to gain altitude.

Roxy clings to Odahviing, hating that she’d missed her Shout, but glad they’re both still fine. This isn’t the first time she’s rode him into battle with another dragon, but the stakes were quite a bit higher this time. Roxy doesn’t go for the moves she usually does while fighting, just for extra safety.

“I need to hit her with Dragonrend, can you get me a clear shot?” Bringing Yolloktanz down was the best chance they had to end this as peacefully as possible.

He nods, pushing Roxy back just as Yolloktanz snaps where they stood.

Then he’s running, fire on his tail as she takes off after him in a rage. Changing while dodging dragon fire isn’t easy but he does it and soon Odahviing is in the air, Yolloktanz close on his tail.

Drey un saalum seik mal wah hi? Ful mal hi lost kuz voth joor?” Odahviing whines low in his throat at that but continues climbing, dropping into a dive to outrun then turn to face Yolloktanz.

“Zu'u lost naalein. Fah vomindok waarth do tiid. Zu'u lost rahgron ahrk Zu'u laan dii faaz wah oblaan. Nii kuz lot mul wah ni haav unahzaal laag.” He growls, rolling in air to dodge her fire before retaliating with ice, catching her tail. He hurts from her words, but will not let her take what he has.

“Hi ahrk un saalum seik zos wah zey wey dii meyar. Nuz Zu'u rund unazom voth Roxy. Fund hi laan tol Zu'u reyzan naalein ahrk vohunaz, daniik wah saraan fah fos nunon hind wah koros?”

Yolloktanz’s words sting, but Roxy can’t feel guilty. Neither she nor Odahviing ever expected her to come back. And their family had been a miracle. Yolloktanz would just have to live with that. “Yes, it hurts him to do that,” She says, before anyone can ask, “And no, I can’t ever watch it.”

Roxy turns to run back to the Palace, “Get everyone inside, I’m getting my bow.”

Odahviing snorts into his mug of mead, grinning behind the rim as he watches Roxy interact, eager to know her answer.
