Loving the new EK episode description for #27. I’m so thrilled about the proposal but the only thing that could have ruined it is if it happened (fully) before Sanem told the truth. The new descrip implies Sanem will tell the truth, HALLELUJAH. I won’t even mind if it’s mid-proposal because she needs to get it all out, that might be most romantic because I feel like they’re going to show his growth by having him react with understanding instead of flipping out, in turn making the proposal all about them totally accepting one another, flaws and all.
I’m excited for the mama drama. Sanem is fierce about the one she loves, Mama is either going to shape up for Can or Sanem’s gonna get her booted out of town again. I hope Emre really comes through for Can here too. I keep waiting for his redemption and they keep faking me out.
Read casting about some new actor casted, looks like a cutie. I’m not worried Sanem will ever have a roving eye, so I don’t care why he’s there. It would be redundant to have another dude obsessed with her, right after Fabri and with Muzo still there, but who knows. Either way, good luck, she’s only got eyes for her man.
I can’t contain it - HOLY SHIT HE IS PROPOSING! They look like they’re in a wonderland and he’s all vulnerable and loving and she’s so soft and adoring. I cannot believe we’re actually getting this.

I want to do a little retrospective of my fave Canem scenes since the pilot but I’m not sure where to borrow those gifs from. Any suggestions? I’m once again rewatching and falling in love with all these subtle things Can and Demet bring to the characters and relationship. Truly special!

I think I’ve gotten lost down the EK twitter hole and I have to vent here, because the mass hysteria over there is making me feel nuts.
First, the whole Can/Demet thing, they are what they are. I don’t get why people can’t be happy about it without going nuts when one little thing is posted or act like the world is ending when they don’t post about each other 24/7. All the BTS we’ve gotten from them is fabulous but this entitled, expecting it attitude is annoying.
Sanem and the perfume. It seems more than likely now that she gave the wrong formula but even if she hadn’t it doesn’t make her evil. Can was in jail for serious shit and she rightly felt that her perfume was not worth his freedom, no matter how stubborn he was being. She was wrong for not being upfront with him but I can understand her being afraid Can would go after Fabri again and get right back in hot water.
I love watching this show because the characters are hilarious but also feel real. I understand the motivations 93% of the time, which is damn high for TV.
Okay, I feel better. Ignore this.

I completely agree. I feel like Sanem giving the perfume away was justified and won’t be as big of a problem as everyone is suggesting.
Also, as much as I move the idea of Can and Demet together, people are just being super creepy. Give them some peace, honestly.
Exactly. I’ll be more disappointed in him if he hasn’t learned enough from the last time to just listen to her. They both need to learn honestly. She had every right to give the perfume away to save him, which he must accept. She also needs to learn to trust him more. I’m hoping it will just help them grow.

Demet is over here hosting Can and his family for NYE/New Year’s Day since he can’t go out because of his eye surgery. Like I was hesitant to say it before, but you don’t spend 24/7 together filming 6 days a week and then spend your only private time together as well... unless... I’m leaving it there because they’re the cutest pineapples ever and I wish them happily ever after.
Sanem body-checking CeyCey to leap into Can’s arms is my current mood.
Also, the fact that Sanem is offering the perfume to Fabri in the fragman and then the series of events with Aylin and the preview of them being adorable on a later day, reassures me that Fabri actually won’t get the perfume. Sanem might make him a stink bomb though.
