“i don’t owe anyone anything” is one of the most incredibly callous and damaging phrases to enter popular vernacular. you owe everyone kindness and consideration, always. understand the idea of a social contract. you cannot reap the benefits of human society and interaction while maintaining such a cold and thankless attitude about it. i mean you can but you’d be a bad person for it
Week before my period moodboard <3
Kinda niche, but I've spent the last five days feeling like I'm losing my mind so here are some PMDD memes. However bad you think it is based on these memes, it's worse.
The thing with ADHD memory issues isn't that I'm blissfully ignorant of all the things I'm forgetting. I'm stressfully ignorant. I'm never suddenly hit with the unexpected feeling of "oh, I think I've forgotten something", because the feeling is never unexpected, nor does it ever leave. That alarm is blaring 24/7. If I didn't tune it out, I'd go insane.
Sorry for the messiness I’m currently fist fighting my brain
But what the heck I gotta do to prevent this from happening EVERY MONTH?

Nothing.
Cutest thing ever
Growing up poor with parents constantly fighting over not having enough, really messes up your relationship with money.
Even if you are financially stable now, buying something for yourself -even necessities- feels like an impossible task. You feel guilty, undeserving, and even talk yourself out of buying things you've wanted for a long time.
You are not a bad person for putting yourself first, for buying stuff that you like and that will make life a little more enjoyable. You deserve good things, you deserve to spoil yourself. You deserve the kindness you are always giving to others.
I saw a report recently that said "Nature needs $384 billion this year" and it amazes me that we try to quantify ancient ecological systems that gave birth to life with something as futile as dollar amounts. Earth and its cycles are invaluable. -qbv
