been thinking a lot about klavquill lately

simon, not knowing what to do with his present and future because he wasn't planning on being around for it. his life had a definitive expiration date and now that it doesn't, he just...has no idea how to go about living. he's adrift, floating through.

klavier, who has within the last year and a half lost nearly everyone important and/or close to him. he's afraid to get close to anyone nowadays for fear of losing them. his careers have switched around, uprooting his life from what it used to be. he's adrift, floating through.

and the two of them striking up an unlikely friendship, a camaraderie as they go through their daily work lives, enjoying lunches together and klavier giving simon rides to and from home on occasion. then they start spending time outside of work together, their lives slowly intertwining until they're both grounded in each other, no longer adrift and floating through because they have each other to hold onto for balance.
