I don’t know if you’ve heard but Liam Payne released this song called “Strip That Down,” and like it’s totally smashing, or maybe it’s definitely a flop. Because, like, it peaked at #441 on Icelandic Hits Bi-Monthly and everyone knows that’s the chart that really matters. But it was also the most played song in the 9 o’clock hour on KISZ 104.7 in Kennebunkport, Maine, which is totally unheard of for a debut single released by an artist with four (… sometimes five?) vowels in their name. Or something. 

AKA a post in which I attempt to break down how Strip That Down has been doing on the (mostly US) charts (and what those charts actually mean) because every time I run across another poorly argued stan war a little piece of my soul dies, and I’m already running dangerously low on soul.

The glue that holds One Direction together is Liam – a man who could easily be your boyfriend and your Dad at the same time in the least creepy way possible this sentence is terrible. But really, he wants to make sure you’re okay out there, because he actually gives a shit when he’s performing. He took the time to carefully get someone’s phone from the crowd and take a selfie, read some signs out to his fans and worked hard to make sure we appreciated their backing band. insp

that’s right kiddos, they’re trying to use automatic updates to force your computer to upgrade to win 10.

Which would be fine and dandy if every windows user in the world ran a standard operating environment but they fucking don’t and this will break a lot of computers.

To stop this for win 7:  Go to your control panel, select Windows Updates.  Click on Change Settings.  Pick any option you like except ‘install updates automatically’   (Personally I use “download but let me choose” as M$ has a nasty habit of breaking things with unnecessary patches, but then again I know this shit backwards, so YMMV) 

If you’re running win XP: Stop punishing yourself.

Signal boost for anyone who might have this option on. I don’t, but I elected to upgrade my Surface to 10 and have regretted it. No way in hell I’d want it on my desktop machine. P.S.: fuck Canon also for refusing to make drivers for slightly older printers on Win10. Win10 acts like it has all the answers drivers, but it doesn’t. Even if you want to upgrade, check printer compatibility before you do or you may end up with devices you can’t use with that computer anymore.

Boosting. Windows 10 completely broke my machine because not all of my hardware was compatible with it. Which is a really common thing. If your hardware works with 10, it’s fukkin great. But if it doesn’t, your computer will explode.

“Guess I need to guard my projects better … They don’t even let you finish these days,” the One Direction singer tweets.

It appears that Liam Payne is moving in a new direction – at least on the weekends.

On Wednesday (April 20) – three months after Payne teased his Instagram followerswith a short snippet of what appeared to be a new R&B song – TMZ posted a Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa track featuring the One Direction singer. But Payne quickly took to Twitter to let fans know the song is just a demo.

The leaked audio features Payne singing a catchy, Auto-Tuned chorus and includes some lyrics from Juicy and Wiz that might make Directioners blush. In a series of tweets, Payne clarified that the song is not a single and said he needs to “guard my projects better.”

Back in December, Juicy J confirmed a collaboration with Payne in a tweet when he told a fan that his song with the One Direction singer would be “coming soon.” The two artists spent time in the studio together around the same time along with producer TM88, and this leaked demo could be the product of that session.

Billboard has reached out to a rep for Juicy J and Liam Payne for further comment
