Butyeah omg I feel you on the hair. I don’t think I’ve ever drawn it quite the same way twice… I find amassing lots of references helps, from various angles lol. I have this problem with Ven’s hair tbh. I cannot draw him from the right ghaklfsghsafd. Sneaky trick- you can always waive Vanitas’s hair by drawing him with the mask ;) Just let his body language do the sneering for him, hahahaha. Though tbh the helmet is not much easier ugh. The profile, sure. The silver parts… ugh. But thank you so, so, so much!! LIkewise, keep doin’ you! You have some rad work yourself. Holy hell i mean you color like all the responses. sometimes i literally have my PSP beside me and half-play BBS JUST so i can get decent ref images for Van and Ven (and also for their outfits?? ain't Nobody (hAH) got time for that. it's why i stick Xi and the others in casual clothes lmao). and oh god, profile views of Rox/Ven kill me. i cant. Just. Never. AND LMAO, everytime Van makes an appearance on my blog he'll always have his mask on, probs with appropriate emojis doodled on it (and seeing as how i cant put up with the details of his suit either, Van with his helmet but in casual clothing?? omfg im so done)
