Why did you choose Esme's husband as your first victim when you went on your rebellious phase?
When I decided to go on the thoughtless ventureof rebelling against Carlisle’s wishes/beliefs, I made a promise to only hurtpeople who truly deserved it – at least in my own opinion. Esme’s husband, ofcourse, was the first person who came to my mind. For six years, I witnessedmemories of the traumatic experiences Esme had gone through with Charles, andit infuriated me. I couldn’t stand the thought of him walking free while shedealt with such pain.
