Rosalie quotes

What is she to me? Except a menace — a danger you’ve chosen to inflict on all of us. - Twilight, Chapter 19, p.401
I’m so very sorry, Bella. I feel wretched about every part of this, and so grateful that you were brave enough to go save my brother after what I did. Please say you’ll forgive me. - New Moon, Chapter 22, p.497
I don’t mean that I have any aversion to you as a sister. It’s just that… this is not the life I would have chosen for myself. I wish there had been someone there to vote no for me. - New Moon, Chapter 24, p.534
If we had happy endings, we’d all be under gravestones now. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.154
Admiration was like air to me, Bella. I was silly and shallow, but I was content. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.155
You know, my record is almost as clean as Carlisle’s. Better than Esme. A thousand times better than Edward. I’ve never tasted human blood. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.163
I did murder five humans. If you can really call them human. But I was very careful not to spill their blood — I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist that, and I didn’t want any part of them in me, you see. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.163
I don’t want Edward that way, Bella. I never did — I love him as a brother, but he’s irritated me from the first moment I heard him speak. You have to understand, though . . . I was so used to people wanting me. And Edward wasn’t the least bit interested. It frustrated me, even offended me in the beginning. But he never wanted anyone, so it didn’t bother me long. Even when we first met Tanya’s clan in Denali — all those females! — Edward never showed the slightest preference. And then he met you. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.164
Edward has always been a little strange. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.165
You already have everything. You have a whole life ahead of you — everything I want. And you’re going to just throw it away. Can’t you see that I’d trade everything I have to be you? You have the choice that I didn’t have, and you’re choosing wrong! - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.166
You don’t want to be rash about permanent things, Bella. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.167
I apologize for being such a monster. I’ll try to behave myself from now on. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.168
I know you’re frustrated that he’s keeping you locked up like this, but don’t give him too bad a time when he gets back. He loves you more than you know. It terrifies him to be away from you. - Eclipse, Chapter 7, p.168
Over my pile of ashes. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 10, p.186
Where’s the flood, mutt? - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 14, p.271
About time. The chainsaw impersonation was getting a little tired. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 14, p.278
Oh, wonderful. I knew I smelled something nasty. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 15, p.292
Enjoy, mongrel. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 15, p.294
Of course there were no survivors. Giving birth in the middle of a disease-infested swamp with a medicine man smearing sloth spit across your face to drive out the evil spirits was never the safest method. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 15, p.303
You. Got. Food. In. My. Hair. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 15, p.304
I’m not going to forget this, dog. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 15, p.304
Ew. Someone put the dog out. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 16, p.323
I have killed a hundred times more often than you have, you disgusting beast. Don’t forget that. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 16, p.324
I’ll help him toss you, dog. I owe you a good kick in the gut. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 22, p.447
The more time he spends here, the less chance there is that we’ll ever get the smell out. - Breaking Dawn, Chapter 25, p.491

The Volturi [AU] || Closed RP || thats-rosalie-hale

Hermione had been in a hushed, heated argument with Aro—it was more of a one-sided argument, but an argument nonetheless. Aro’s calmness wasn’t sitting well with her at all. She quickly shut up as two unfamiliar faces entered the room.

"Who are they?" she blurted suddenly, unable to remember the fact that no matter how quiet she kept her voice, someone would always hear it. She knew the two had heard her.

Who was Renesmee? And what did the Cullens have to do with the Volturi? Who were the Cullens? Hermione’s mind was asking a million questions at once. She knew in her past life she devoured books and their knowledge, but she couldn’t recall anything after that. The pages and the covers of books were suddenly blank and nameless to her.

She despised the feeling of not being able to remember anything and yet she suddenly knew, well, everything! How was that? She could hardly recall anything from her past life, but yet if you asked her about some historical event, or the probability of something in the future, she could probably spit it out faster than the latest computer could.

Hermione’s head snapped in Marcus’ direction and she said seethingly, “I am not your daughter… nor am I your friend! I don’t even know who you people are, or why I’m here!” She was a super genius? Oh, the irony of her current situation.

Rosalie’s hand moved to grasp Emmett’s out of reflex.  Carlisle had been one of the Volturi’s pets, a long, long time ago.  Just a couple of years ago, Edward and Alice were at risk for being recruited into the Volturi army.  Thankfully they were spared.  However, it was because of Renesmee that the Volturi were once again interested in the Cullen family.

“My name is Rosalie.  This is my husband, Emmett,” Rose introduced, as calmly and rationally as possible.  The girl was already frightened, that was obvious.  Her gaze met Aro’s and he could feel her nervousness while Emmett stood guard to protect his wife if need be.

Aro tilted his head, frowning and tsking Hermione.  “My dear, it is impolite to show your temper in front of our guests,” he chided.  “Mr. and Mrs. Cullen.  Since you are here, perhaps it is best if the two of you help her adjust to our ways.  You have more contact with the modern human world than we do.”

This was a cause of concern for the pair.  Rosalie did not want to spend her vacation in Italy like this, and she didn’t want to stay in Volterra for longer than necessary.  Emmett, too, didn’t like the sound of this, but he knew they had no choice.

“What could we possibly teach her that you don’t have the means to?” he asked.
