someone pls indulge me in this: muse a is a party girl who doesn’t really believe in relationships, free and flippant. in fact, the only person she does seem to care the most about is her best friend, muse b  —  her total opposite, a compassionate sweetheart and a total romantic. muse b insists that muse a will find her true love, and muse a scoffs at the thought … that is, until muse b gets engaged to a total dud of a loser and muse a starts to realize that maybe the person she’s actually been in love with all along is about to marry the wrong person. 

give me a plot where   muse a   and   muse b   are broken up and they’re both taking it   REALLY   hard. but instead of doing   post-relationship   threads we can do   F L A S H B A C K   paras   !!   big fights leading up to the split, the first time they slept together, the   last   time they slept together, little disagreements that lead up to   HUGE   disagreements that go down in public, cute trips that they took to the city, visits with the future in-laws, big events where future plans were made   (   plans that evidently fell through   ),   the day they met, their first kiss, all that good shit okay just give it to me but make it   h e a r t b r e a k i n g   because we’ll know it doesn’t work out at the end. something kind of like   eternal sunshine   except no memory-wiping or whatever

it’d been about a year since liam & scarlett took the kids to the snow the first time. which means , it’s been a year since the conversation of possibly rekindling their relationship. ( now , let me fill you in — ) in that year, scarlett decided it’d be best to keep her distance , out of that same fear that she always had. messing it up. she continued to better herself, put the kids first, and earn back the trust and respect liam once had for her without any other intentions getting in the way. happy, healthy scarlett ? happy, healthy household.

which made this morning possible !

scarlett had asked liam if she could stay the night , to prepare for the morning of their little girl’s sixth birthday ( & valentine’s day ) . she woke up bright and early , spending a couple hours decorating the kitchen and dining area balloons, streamers & confetti adorning the space, preparing a breakfast full of heart shaped foods, fruits, tons of red, pink and white sprinkles and … a whole lot of chocolate. definitely not what scar would let the kids eat on the regular BUT it was a special occasion.

first , scarlett woke their 8 year old up — who 1. hated valentine’s day because girls and love were icky but 2. was still excited to celebrate his sister’s birthday. the two next snuck into the main bedroom, where elena managed to sneak by liam’s side. a smile formed on the mother’s lips, the sight of her daughter and the man she was in love with warming her heart. shaking her thoughts away, she gave mason a little glance and he smirked back, hopping onto the bed to get liam’s attention while scarlett gently shook the little one awake , “ happy birthday , princess elena ! daddy, mason, & i have a surprise for you ! ”

           as much as liam wanted to be with Scarlett a year ago. As much as he would have loved for Scarlett to jump into his arms and kiss him and agree to getting back together right then and there.. He always knew deep down inside him, that that was not going to happen. And he understood. He had just been way too hopeful when he went that one afternoon to Scarlett’s house to talk about their kiss. And what could happen between them. But, he completely understood when she had declined.The kids have always been first for Liam too. And yeah, maybe Scarlett wasn’t ready... he probably wasn’t either, but he would wait for her as much time as she needs, because he knows she is the love of his life his best friend.  Before he knew it him and Scarlett were spending more and more time together. At first they were small meetings for play dates with Mason and Elena. Then their plans with the kids started to get more frequent than ever in the whole time they have been separated.  So, when Scarlett asked him if she could stay the night to prepare for the morning of their daughter’s birthday, of course he agreed. He even wondered why she still asked him if she knew he would basically say yes to her if it meant spending time with her, even as friends. for their kids.  Liam’s job was to keep Elena from waking up too early and discovering Scarlett setting everything up for her birthday. Which to be honest, Liam could not be more grateful for. He got the easy part. Elena had snuggled into bed with him, which made his job even easier. He wrapped one of his arms around her and used his phone with the other. Just cuddling her as he waited for Scarlett’s cue. With a smile on his face, he looked as Scarlett and Mason had gathered on the bed to surprise Elena.   ❝  We really do hope you’ll love it.   ❞ he added

                what katherine was doing in this town was unknown, she was just trying to get away from everything, and finally live her life as she wants to. However, none of her plans went like she wanted, seeing as the apartment she had rented had mistakenly been rented to another person too ! The landlord had not been very kind, and did nothing to help them resolve the issue. Plus, she had found no other properties as good as this one, or in a good location as this one, and definitely not as spacious. She could not just go live somewhere else, she had to be the one to keep this apartment, why couldn’t just the other guy go with his kid somewhere else. Okay, that sounded really bad, but she did get here first. She is not a bad person, I swear !  Mostly, anyway.  I mean, they are still in the apartment, with her, right ?   

• hEy gimme a plot where there’s a single dad who lives alone with his kid in a cheap apartment and he’s reserved and keeps to himself and is pretty shy and there’s a girl who moves into the apartment across from his and they each have their windows open all the time and she just gets amused watching him interact with his kid and she’s so amazed by it and they communicate through their windows a lot, looking up every so often and waving or chuckling and making little faces at each other, but never actually talk until there’s a false fire alarm at three in the morning and they’re standing out in the cold and she offers his kid her jacket because they at the time thought there was a real fire and he was too worried about getting the two of them outside to think about jackets and it just kind of takes off from theRE !!
