There are times when I feel like I'm enclosed by a wall stretched around me. This is the frustration I feel when I’m unable to accurately express my thoughts. As a way to take down this invisible wall, I decided to leave my heart wide open.
It’s been 8 years since I first started this series of essays entitled Kaihoku. Whatever I felt at the moment of writing, I expressed as honestly as I could in the form of pictures and written words. While this book is essentially a compilation of these essays, you’ll find that the arrangement isn‘t chronological. Reason being, I wanted you as the reader to feel a sense of surprise as you embark upon each new chapter.
