Aomine Daiki: After finishing your own club activities at school in the afternoon, you usually head over to the gym to wait for Aomine’s basketball practice to finish. There’s more people than usual today, and you suddenly remember that he’s playing a practice match against another powerhouse school. You sit down in your usual seat, tucked away in a corner near the back of the gym, and watch the basketball team run around, chasing the ball...

“-Oi, teme,” You jolt awake to the sound of Aomine’s irritated voice. He’s hovering over you, still in his club uniform. “Buy me food after this...I can’t believe you actually fell asleep during my game...”

Kise Ryouta: You simply just didn’t understand the appeal of watching a group of sweaty men run around a court to chase after a ball, but you’re still supportive enough of Kise that he doesn’t mind too much. However, occasionally he still gets pouty over the fact that you’re not always at his basketball practices - he comes to nag you one day about this.

”_____-cchiiiiiiiii,” He finds you in your classroom and kneels down at your seat, plopping his chin on your desk. “Why won’t you come to all my basketball practicesss?””You know I don’t really like sports, Ryouta...and I already go to most of them.” ”You’ll start to love basketball if you come to all of them.””And why is that?”“Because ball is life!”You blink at him. He blinks back, as if his explanation was supposed to mean something incredible. “Ball is life? What the hell does that even mean?” 

Midorima Shintarou: You know Midorima is a proud character in general, so at first you try to hide the fact that you have absolutely zero interest in basketball from him. He finds out, however, when he takes you to a basketball court after a date in an attempt to impress you with his shooting skills.

“What do you think?” He asks you after his 10th shot. You’re sitting on the bench right next to the court debating whether to tell him about your disinterest in basketball or not. When you see him heading over to pick up the ball again, you decide to tell him the truth.“Your skill is really impressive, Shin-kun” You decide to praise him first, before letting him know. “But to be honest, I don’t really know much about basketball. Like most sports, I find it kind of boring...”He’s stopped in his tracks, and you see that his face is starting to flush pink. “But I mean, you’re really, really good, right?” You immediately feel bad, after he tried to hard to impress you. “I’m happy that you have a hobby that you enjoy so much...”

“I-I see, nanodayo.” He says finally, picking up his basketball. “Let’s go somewhere else then, shall we?” 

Murasakibara Atsushi: Murasakibara already knew from the start that you didn’t really have an interest in basketball, and he doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he still occasionally gets pouty after a particularly tiring training session, and you like to tease him for it. 

“_____-chin...” He’ll come to find you after training, and lay down, resting his head in your lap. “I hate basketball...it’s so tiring...”“Right?” You’d agree with him wholeheartedly and offer him some snacks. “Basketball isn’t fun at all...and it takes up so much time, so how about quitting and spending more time with me? We can go to the cinemas straight after school tomorrow - how about that?” You’ll catch his attention at this point, because you know that he actually loves basketball. You pat his head, chuckling, when he pouts even more. “I’m just joking, Atsushi, just joking.” 

Kuroko Tetsuya: You don’t have the heart to tell Kuroko that you find basketball boring, but he finds out anyway through a friend of yours who accidentally spilt the fact that you didn’t like sports. 

“Why didn’t you tell me earlier, ____-san?” He sounds sad and guilty, probably because he talks to you about basketball so much, and as a result, you feel kind of guilty as well. “Well...it’s not like I hate it or anything...I just don’t find sports fun to watch...”“Will you still come to my games?”“I’m not that cold-hearted,” You chide him gently, “Of course I’ll still come to watch your games.”

Akashi Seijurou: Akashi literally doesn’t care about the fact that you’re not interested in basketball. His reasoning behind this is that if he’s forced to sit down and watch various shoujo anime with you despite giving zero fucks about it - then you have to return the favour and go to watch all his games. 

You don’t tell him that you would go and support him anyway though, otherwise he’d never watch Ouran High School Host Club with you ever again.

Aomine Daiki: At the sound of you yelling, Aomine fumbles with and drops whatever he’s picked up, cursing under his breath. There’s a mother shopping with her child in your aisle as well, and whilst the mother is trying not to look your way, her child stares straight at Aomine.

“Look mummy, it’s a thief!” 

You can’t help but burst into laughter at the way Aomine scowls at the child, and then at you. 

Kise Ryouta: “E-Ehh?!” Kise quickly glances around, looking up and down the aisle you guys are in to see if anyone had heard what you had yelled out. He breathes out a sigh of relief when he sees that no one is around. 

“_____-cchi, that was mean!” He complains, lips curling into a slight pout. 

Midorima Shintarou: Midorima’s eye twitches in irritation, but he tries to pay no heed to your accusations. However, he eventually gives into temptation and does a quick sweep of the store with his eyes when you yell out again, this time louder. 

“What are you doing, nanodayo?” He mutters, unamused. “Why would I try to steal toilet paper?” 

Murasakibara Atsushi: You don’t even get the chance to pull your prank on Murasakibara - you’re shopping for snacks with him and he’s decided that he couldn’t be bothered to wait until the checkout before tearing into his food. 

“Atsushi!” You watch in horror as he rips open a packet of chips and sticks his hand in right in the middle of the aisle. “You can’t do that! They’ll think we’re actually stealing!” 

Kuroko Tetsuya: Kuroko blinks, surprised, when you pull your prank on him. “But I’m not stealing this, _____-san,” He says with a sly smile, quickly pushing the groceries into your arms. “You are.”

By the time a member of staff reaches your aisle, Kuroko has already disappeared and you have to awkwardly explain your prank to the very unamused security guard. You make a mental note to never try to prank your boyfriend again. 

Akashi Seijurou: A staff member working in the store begins to make his way over to you and Akashi when you jokingly yell out the accusation, but he stops right in his tracks when he notices Akashi’s stare on him. 

You’re wondering why the guy suddenly makes a three-sixity and begins walking back to the counter, when Akashi turns the same blank stare on you. “We’ll talk about this when we get home, _____.” 

Gulping inwardly at both his words and unimpressed stare, you flash him your most playful smile, mind racing to find an appropriate apology before the two of you make it home. 

Kagami Taiga: Kagami panics big time, freezing up like a deer in the headlights when you pull your prank, and you almost feel sorry for doing it. He quickly puts the pair of sneakers he was looking at back on the shelf before the store manager comes, and tries to nonchalantly whistle some tune when he does come to check up on your aisle. 

It’s totally obvious that he’s acting nervous and the store manager ends up keeping his eye on the both of you for the remainder of your shopping trip. 

Haizaki Shougo: Haizaki ignores you when you pull your prank, and continues to browse the chocolate bar section of the aisle in his usual manner. When someone comes to follow up on your fake accusation of Haizaki stealing something, he sighs in exasperation. 

“Sorry,” He’s unusually polite, and you’re surprised he’s even bothering to give an explanation. “My partner here, _____, thought it’d be funny to pull a prank...I haven’t stolen anything.”

The manager believes him, but the moment he leaves the aisle Haizaki grabs a kitkat bar off the shelf and quickly slips it into his pocket.

“Thanks babe.” He winks at you and your gobsmacked expression. “You made this ten times easier.”

Aomine Daiki: Aomine instinctively runs his gaze down your form when he sees you wearing your kimono for the first time, and actually feels his breath get knocked out of him for the first time. Seeing you slowly make your way towards him nervously, he can’t help but stride over from the meeting place you had arranged to grab your hand firmly, making it clear to others that you weren’t attending the ceremony alone.

“Oi,” He demands, voice lacking it’s usual aggression. “Only wear this when I’m around, got it?”

Kise Ryouta: Kise spots you immediately, as soon as you step into his line of sight, and he makes this very obvious - calling out excitedly and bounding up to you for a hug before halting abruptly, having only just taken notice of how you look in your kimono. Nudging your shoulder gently, he turns you around in a circle so he can admire from every inch and angle, and when you meet his eyes again upon turning the whole 360 degrees, they’re glazed over in admiration. 

Midorima Shintarou: Midorima’s eyes widen ever so slightly in surprise when he first sees you walking his way in your new yukata, and he doesn’t seem to realise that he’s been staring at you for a long time until you’re right in front of him, shyly asking if everything was okay. Your voice snaps him out of his reverie immediately, and he tears his eyes from you before he can embarrass himself any further. 

“Y-You...” Clearing his throat, he offers you his arm. “..You look nice, nanodayo. Shall we go?”

Murasakibara Atsushi: Murasakibara’s hand halts halfway to his chip packet, and his lips are frozen in mid chew as he spots you turning around the corner. He only begins to move again to reach up and rub his eyes, before glancing in your direction again, to check if the girl he had just seen moments ago really was you. Upon confirmation, Murasakibara decides that he likes seeing you wear traditional clothing, and wouldn’t mind seeing it again. 

“____-chin...” He speaks up as soon as the festival is over, acting nonchalant, as if he hadn’t been sneaking glances at you all night. “...tonight was fun...let’s come back again soon~”

Kuroko Tetsuya: Kuroko does a double-take when he first sees you, before quickly composing himself and greeting you with a fond smile. He has no trouble letting you know that he was taken off-guard by how lovely you looked in your kimono, the tips of his ears even turning a little red in embarrassment as he does so. 

Akashi Seijurou: Akashi’s standing outside your house, waiting for you to get ready so the two of you could attend the ceremony his father had organised. He’s staring into space, looking a little glum, and turns at the sound of your front door opening. His expression immediately changes into one of awe upon seeing how well your kimono suited you. 

“I don’t like the fact that my father arranged for us to attend this without consulting me first...” He admits when you question why he was looking down earlier, but proceeds to take your hand with a soft smile. “...but you look beautiful, so I guess I’ll let it slide for now.”

Kagami Taiga: Kagami actually gulps when he sees you emerging from your room, elegantly dressed up in your kimono. He swallows again, and mentally thanks his lucky stars that someone like you had agreed to be his girlfriend. Despite not really being used to doing so, Kagami would try to act like a gentlemen for the rest of the evening. He’d open a door for you and forget that it was opened for you in the first place, only to remember after he’d walked through it himself first.

Aomine Daiki: Aomine usually hates it when you bring up the topic of studying, or anything that requires him to reveal emotion in general - but he’s more than willing to listen after seeing how stressed you are as a result of your mother’s pressuring. Knowing that comfort isn’t his forte, he sighs and jabs a pinky in his ear as he considers what to do, knowing that he had to do something to cheer you up.

“I don’t really get it,” He mutters after a while. “If you don’t wanna do it, just don’t do it. Don’t force yourself. You don’t need to anyway, ‘cause I’m gonna look after you after we graduate anyway.”“Daiki,” You can’t help but smirk. “Did you just say you’ll look after me? With your grades?”“...Oi, teme, I’m trying to be nice here.”

Kise Ryouta: Being well established in the modelling agency, Kise is more or less familiar with the stress that comes from the pressure of trying to maintain a perfect body image. Not wishing that kind of stress on anyone - especially you - he would try to comfort you by reassuring that you didn’t need to make any changes to your lifestyle if you didn’t want to. If that was the case, he’d suggest that you speak with your mother (he’d probably be willing to speak to her for you if you didn’t want to) and ask her to stop unnecessarily pressuring you. 

Midorima Shintarou: As the top student in his class, Midorima sometimes teases you about your grades as well, however without any ill intent. The fact that someone else other than him is doing the same thing, and even causing you stress as a result, doesn’t quite sit well with him - even if it is your parent. 

Irritated, but at the same time not wanting to say anything that may seem like an insult to your mother, he opts for comforting you with actions rather than words. Reaching out and wrapping his arms around you tenderly, he simply holds you there for however long you need to feel at ease again. 

Murasakibara Atsushi: Murasakibara doesn’t like having to deal with something as troublesome as comforting, but he dislikes seeing you upset even more. After patiently listening to you talk for a good half an hour about how your mother was starting to make you feel uncomfortable at home due to her constant pushing, he stands up from his chair abruptly. 

“Wait here, ____-chin...I’ll bring you back something that’ll make you feel better ~” You can’t help but crack a smile as you spot him returning five minutes later with a bag full of your favourite sweets. 

Kuroko Tetsuya: “I’m sorry that your mother is pressuring you so much, ____-san.” Kuroko would say immediately, upset that you were having to deal with this all alone at home. He’d tell you that he’d be there to support whatever decision you make, and that you didn’t have to feel scared because he’d always be by your side.“I know it’s hard, ____-san, but please try not to stress too much. It will be okay; we can take things one small step at a time.”

Akashi Seijurou: Akashi frowns immediately, obviously displeased with the fact that you’re being pressured like this at home - when he’s not around to protect you. He wants to ask you more about your family, and your mother’s seemingly insensitive nature, but he decides to wait until you’re feeling less stressed before questioning. Akashi is willing to sit with you for however long it takes for you to talk about your troubles, not even caring when it’s time to go to a lesson, shooting dark glares at anyone who looked like they were about to come over and interrupt. You feel a little silly discussing this with Akashi - knowing that he probably has it at least ten times worse with his father - but he takes you seriously, taking your hand in comfort whilst you talk out your stress. 

Hanamiya Makoto: Hanamiya isn’t the sentimental type at all, but even he can tell that something, or someone has been making you feel down lately. His usual arrogant smirk is wiped off his face when you mutter under your breath about how you shouldn’t eat that cupcake at lunch because you need to lose weight, and he demands to know what’s going on - or more importantly, who told you to do that. 

“Tch.” He pulls an annoyed face when he finds out that your mother is the reason for your glum mood, because it means that he can’t resort to his usual ways of dealing with people who irritate him. “I’m only going to say this once, so listen carefully, okay? You don’t need to do any of that crap if you don’t want to, because I think you’re fine the way you are.” 

Kagami Taiga: “Daijoubu! Don’t sweat it, ____!” Kagami exclaims enthusiastically, give his chest a good thump before shaking his fist at you in reassurance. “You’re doing a lot better than me - I haven’t gotten a single double digit score on any test since I joined High School!”

Aomine Daiki: Lunch break is almost over, and you’ve pretty much spent the entire time with Aomine in his usual spot at school - the rooftop. You’re sitting up with your back leaning against the wall, and despite the fact that your boyfriend is lying almost with his head in your lap, you’re more engrossed in the biology textbook you know you have to revise from in order to have any chance at passing the exam next period. Aomine, on the other hand, has completely given up on trying to get your attention for the time being, having already been ignored over five times due to your intense last-minute revising. 

“Oi. ” When the bell rings, he reaches out to tug on your skirt before you can go anywhere, holding you down with a firm grip. Leaning in, his other hand taps his lips with a lazy smirk. “You’re not going anywhere until you apologise for ignoring me this whole time.”

Kise Ryouta: Usually it’s Kise who receives constant, sometimes even unwanted attention from the opposite sex, but on White Day, you’re surprised to find your locker relatively filled up with confession letters from the secret admirers you didn’t know existed. You throw each one in the bin after reading them, flattered that someone had taken the time to deliver such a lovely letter to you, but ultimately thinking nothing of it, due to already having a boyfriend. 

Kise, however, did not react as maturely as you did in regards to the situation. You find him next to your locker at the end of the day, arms crossed over his chest with a gruff expression on his face. An image of a large, blonde guard dog crosses your mind and you can’t help but giggle.

“How long have you been at my locker, Ryouta?” You manage to ask after your mini laughing fit dies down. He pouts. “It’s not like I’ve been guarding it or anything...” “Right.” You reply, opening your locker and blinking upon seeing another enclosed letter inside. Beside you, Kise’s expression visibly turns into a sulk. “Ne, ____-cchi,” You turn at the sound of your name, and jump back in surprise as Kise’s face is suddenly so close to yours, lips parted ever so slightly. “What are you doing?” You glance around quickly. “We’re still at school!”“I don’t care anymore,” He grumbles, reaching down to tilt your chin up. “I need to show everyone who ____-cchi belongs to.”

Midorima Shintarou: It’s quite rare for Midorima to be the one to initiate something like a kiss, and the shocked expression that spreads across his features when you pull away isn’t something you see everyday either. He quickly replaces it with his usual neutral expression. 

“Sorry, Shin-kun...” You explain, wincing at what bad timing it was. “I just ate garlic. My breath rreeeaaallllyyy smells right now.”Midorima’s eyebrows furrow. “It’s not like I’d care about something like that, nanodayo...” The corners of his lips actually curve down into a little frown.You can’t help but grin at the unusual face he’s pulling. “Do you really want me to kiss you?” He hesitates, before glancing away, adjusting his glasses. “I wouldn’t mind that, nanodayo...” 

Murasakibara Atsushi: “Ne, ____-chin, do I get a kiss now? I didn’t slack off this lesson...” You’re well aware of the fact that Murasakibara’s the type to make it very obvious when he wants something, but you can’t believe that he’d do something like this during class. 

“Not now, Atsushi,” You’re just glad that your PE teacher or any of your classmates didn’t seem to hear his request. Glancing up at him, your heart sinks as you see him press his lips together in a thin line - his typical way of letting you know that he’s unhappy with your response. “The PE lesson isn’t over yet.”

“Ehhh~” Mumbling, his cheeks puff out slightly as he stubbornly pouts. “What’s the point in putting effort in playing basketball in PE class if ____-chin won’t even give me a kiss...”

Realising that it was almost impossible trying to reason with him, you sigh in exasperation, before beckoning him to bend down. You have to rise on your tip-toes to quickly press your lips against his - but at least he’s no longer sulking when you pull away. 

Kuroko Tetsuya: You can’t help but feel guilty about the fact that you haven’t been able to spend much time with Kuroko lately, due to your after school club activities. Unluckily, the days where you’re off are the days when he has basketball practice, but it doesn’t stop him from trying to spend time with you.

“____-san, are you free after school today?” He asks, and you’re already shaking your head before the question has even fully left his lips. “...Oh, I see. Maybe some other day then.”“I’m so sorry, Tetsu-kun...” You’re almost tempted to ditch your club activity to hang out with your boyfriend, consequences be damned, but Kuroko, reading the hesitancy in your expression, steps forward and gently brushes his lips against your cheek, throwing you off guard.

“W-What -”“Go to your club activity, ____-san,” He still looks a little unhappy, but he’s smiling anyway. “I’ll wait for you. After all, you owe me a kiss in return.”

Akashi Seijurou: It was never your intention to annoy Akashi on the day of his birthday, but you had planned a surprise birthday party for him with Kuroko, inviting all of his old and current teammates and friends, and definitely did not want him finding out about it - thus leading to you denying him a morning kiss, trying to play it off as if you had no idea that it was a special day. He doesn’t say anything, but it’s clear that he was expecting something from the way his expression seems to fall ever so slightly. 

He only takes action later when he catches you frantically texting Kuroko, and reaches out to snap your phone shut, before wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you to him with a huff.“You’re being awfully cold today, ____.” You can’t see his face from your position, but there’s definitely distress in his voice. “I hope you haven’t forgotten that I’m the one you should focus your attention on.” 

Imayoshi Shoichi: Your friends have somehow convinced you to prove that you can go an entire day without speaking to - something that you’ll end up bashing your past self for agreeing to. He watches in amusement as you go out of your way to not interact with him, thinking that you wouldn’t be able to last long. You’re more stubborn than he thought, however, and by the end of the school day, his patience is starting to wear thin. 

Your first mistake is to walk around the school unaccompanied. Out of nowhere, Imayoshi slides an arm around you from behind, pulling you out from the hallway and into an empty classroom.

“Alright,” He brings his lips to your ear, nipping your earlobe gently and sending shivers down your spine. “I think you’ve had enough fun with this silly bet for today ~”
