I guess I can talk about it, because, obviously Marlene is changing it a little bit. It’s about this perfect town called Beacon Heights, where there is a really rich family that owns the town basically. They know everything about everyone and their daughter is the first person to die. It’s an accident in the town… or maybe not. And for some reason Alison is in the town and I can’t tell you why…

I can’t believe she can’t take feedback. This is not a good quality to have Mar. The writer isn’t always right. “Watch it again” isn’t going to change their opinion that Spoby got shafted.

It also doesn’t mean shit when Toby can sleep with Alex twice and not know she’s not Spencer…. But that’s none of my business.

Yeah, you should just “watch it again” and change your opinion

What does this even mean? Charlotte literally kidnapped her. Sara went missing. She was riding her bike one day and poof, gone. How is that “taking care”? Marlene really doesn’t know her own show.

Nope. Plus how did Charlotte get out of Radley again, after getting caught sneaking out the night before, to even kidnap Sara?

On your answers page, but I don't see how that answers the question of why Sara was working with CeCe. Obviously A.D. wasn't around when CeCe met Mona and found out about the game, so she couldn't have been working for her just because she was looking for a pot of gold that A.D. told her about. They never told us how Sara and CeCe met, and CeCe didn't know about the game when Sara disappeared on the same day as Ali because she hadn't met Mona yet.

I’m starting to get slightly confused myself but this is my simplified understanding:

Charlotte told Sara that she hid her greatest treasure underneath the Radley, and so Sara helped Charlotte as Red Coat and Black Widow because she wanted this so called pot of gold, which Sara assumed was money. I guess Sara assumed that Charlotte would give it to her, if she helped in the A games. However, it turns out that this “greatest treasure” was actually the file of Mary Drake - not money. The fact that Charlotte was calling the file of her mother a “pot of gold” goes to show Charlotte’s love for Mary.

The file was actually Mary’s - not Alex’s, and this is the file that Spencer, Toby and Mona found in 620. Charlotte found out about Alex around the time of season 5 episode 1, when we saw her fly out of Rosewood. But, Charlotte always did know about Mary, so Charlotte always did know about this “pot of gold”, and she was using that to bring in a teammate to help her pull her stunts off.

Does any of that make sense or have I missed your point? I think the confusion might be that Alex told someone about a file - Alex had no role in the relationship between Charlotte and Sara.

You get the feeling in all these Pretty Little Liars exit interviews and memoirs from the cast that the network and the studio had their hands all over every scene in every script of this TV show. It was about the tweets and the Tumblr gif sets and the Teen Choice surfboards and the NOISE NOISE NOISE NOISE. It’s why Ezra’s not dead or in jail, why he’ll end up riding off into the sunset with Aria. And it’s also why the other Liars got cardboard cut out replacement love interests during the time jump, so they could inevitably dump them and be reunited with their most significant love interests on-screen. And why for Emily, it was the opposite. The criticism of Paige McCullers, even from professional TV critics, to this day, drips with barely masked disdain for the ways she’s not feminine enough, not gentle enough, not apologetic enough. The way she doesn’t fit the mold of culturally acceptable womanhood. Her hair, her button-downs, her muscle t’s. The way she walks and the way she talks. And the only reason those same people have loosened up on Ali is because she was punished, and thoroughly. She didn’t apologize for who she was, for what she knew, and so suffered to atone. […] What a story it could have been if Paige had been given the same care and attention as the male love interests on this show, if she’d grown organically on-screen, and if Alison had been written with consistency and courage. What a story to see Emily choose between her first love and her most significant relationship here in these final episodes, to know that either one would be a radical decision. The queer Dead Blonde Girl, resurrected. Or the self-harming kid in the closet who came out on TV during an epidemic of gay teen suicides in real life, and who lived and lived and lived and loved and got the girl. My heart should have been broken by the beauty of this mess, the glorious breathtaking jumble of impossibility; one of the longest running lesbian characters on television choosing between two complicated, polarizing, unapologetic women. Women who devastated and undid her and helped her and healed her, each in their way, hating themselves and each other and, in loving her, finding themselves made whole. What if Paige and Ali had been given the same mandate as Ezra? What if any ferocious woman anywhere was ever given the same mandate as her dime-a-dozen white male counterpart? It haunts me. (It haunts all of us now, whether we acknowledge it or not.)

I'm sorry but if you have ended a TV series and fans STILL have questions that no one else knows the answer to either, you haven't done your job properly.

You’re telling me with all the producers and writers Marlene has working with her not one of them said “hang on, this doesn’t make sense”

Another thing they never addressed:

Wren literally bumped into Alex at a bar in London, and he showed her photos on his phone of her twin sister, Spencer, living in Rosewood.

Next thing we know, Wren/Alex and Charlotte/Archer were going on double dates. Did Wren also have photos of CeCe on his phone, and said to Alex “and this is your other sister”? How did Wren know that? How did Wren know Mary is her mother?

HOW DID WREN GO FROM “YOU HAVE A SISTER NAMED SPENCER IN ROSEWOOD” TO “YOUR MOTHER IS MARY DRAKE AND YOU ALSO HAVE A SISTER NAMED CHARLOTTE”

Does anyone else question if Alex Drake had something to do with Toby and Yvonne’s car accident/ Yvonne’s death because i think that Alex wanting to be with Toby could have been a really big motive to kill Yvonne. what are peoples thoughts let me know by messaging me or replying to this post please and thank you :)
