Just had a Thought and now I'm curious. What's you guy's strangest comfort media? It doesn't have to be strange as in like creepy/fucked up/whatever, it can just be smthn a lil odd.

#I like to listen to chiptunes heavily#and ESPECIALLY with oscilloscope visualizations#mostly SID (c64) and YM2612/FM synth. makes up a lot of my music listening#no nostalgia for the c64 as that was before my time but it's such a recognized “video game” sound and the chip lends itself well to music#genesis/fm synth i have heavy nostalgia for#there's something lovely about making good music with harsh sounds and crushing constraints#my family has joked that I'm a robot listening to all the beeps n boops and liking it#less strange are:#hand tool rescue's restoration and patent videos#phillies baseball#northernlion videos

as someone who has been hit in the throat with a little league softball before, i can’t even believe jt stood up after that. and like, i’ve never even seen that man flinch so the fact that he was falling over at the plate in pain is INSANE. stubbs was frozen in the dugout shaking his head in disbelief like “nah he’s okay, it’s jt, of course he’s fine?” and that’s how you know that shit hurt like a mf. ​what a disaster of a game

For me, the worst part of the city connect leak is the word choice and typeface on the front. It's like they picked the edgiest font out of 12 presets in a video game uniform creator

That said, if the leaked font is supposed to be a Ben Franklin lightning-adjacent thing, it could have a storm-caller theme to it. Imagine a promo video where Bryce is going to bat and he raises his arm to the stormy sky and a bolt of lightning hits it, which he captures. He grips the bat with his hand and the bat crackles with electricity. That'd get me hyped actually
