Studio Up-d8

After picking two of the stronger songs to record we began demoing them at the studio. We expect the songs to be all finished up instrumentally sometime this week.

It's sounding much heavier and faster then how they've been originally rehearsed, but heavier and faster = more mosh so it's all good. Adam has been handy with his NWO action figures and by showing us awesome ways to "cheat" at scrabble. He truly is a valuable engineer.

For right now other than the studio we're just finishing up with lyrics for the two tracks and getting prepared for finishing up our set. And don't forget all the Horton's coffees and Philly Cheese Steak we've been consuming allowing us to stay on top of the MLB post season as well as the Jags and Leafs 2010-2011 seasons.

It hasn't even been a month and things have been coming along much faster than we could have ever hoped for.

We're heading into the studio tomorrow to record a two song demo. We will most likely be handing it out November 20th at the Chariot and Cancer Bats show at the Wax.

I don;t know why I'm typing like people will be reading this, but oh wellz whatev n shiz.

Anyways, it's twice the deal time and then random hoodlum magic.

Exhausted... But a Feast Is Coming

At the moment it's just me and Ben still awake. It has been a crazy long day but definitely one of our most productive days. We started writing our fourth song after a short delay (which actually seemed to be long) because of writer's block. We're all happy to be able to say today we also figured out that next week sometime we'll be hitting the studio and doing a couple of tracks for a demo. Also today we got word that a design for merch is coming along by our buddy Cam.

Even though we're tired, and some of us sick, at least we're getting tons of stuff done. 

On Monday we are having a Band Thanksgiving. There will be a lot of food (none prepared by us). Pretty much we're going out to eat all together but it's planned in advance so I guess it's different. Then over the meal we'll say why we're thankful and also discuss our options to replace Nick (just kidding dude).

That's pretty much it for everything going on.

in hopes you hear

Today is the day we have been a band for almost two weeks now, and in this short amount of time we've already put together three complete instrumentals.

The music we've been making is something really special to us all, and we've never been more excited to play and create as we are right now with this band. Since day one it's been right to work and that still hasn't changed. Even with work and school in the way, we've been putting in many hours daily to ensure solid music that we can appreciate inside and out, with being hopeful in mind that some people out there to will also enjoy it maybe even as much as we do.

Right now Tim, Nathanael, and I are just hanging out at home playing Spider-man 2 and yelling at our kitten after another long night of sweat and crappy jam hall. Tonight at practice, we merged two shorter songs together " Moose Barney 'tentatively titled' " and " Tim Allen at the Aud 'tentatively titled' " which ended up being a really way good sweet idea.. yeah.
