1) If Charles was born before Jason, he is probably a Hastings. Wren was romantically involved with both Hastings sisters and I doubt the show would feature incest. 2) How would no one at Radley not recognize Dr. Wren as the deranged patient who escaped and died just a few years earlier? Maybe Charles is not a Hastings and maybe Eddie Lamb was onto Wren and Wren will still be Charles. But the Radley part especially would be a huge plot hole.

Did Charles or ‘A’ plan on the girls escaping the dollhouse? Since the last episode we can conclude that the girls were implanted with trackers. Now, knowing how well secure the dollhouse was, why would she/he bother? There were cameras everywhere, they were cemented underground, AND fenced in..so them getting out was like a slim chance (even though it happened). Does this mean she/he did eventually want them to escape post torture? Why?
Also, why doesn’t Mona & Sara have them implanted as well?
Just another thought.
Maybe monas was implanted much earlier since she was there way before them? I think Charles wanted them to escape…I feel like he could’ve stopped them. He probably got tired of the dolls being in the dollhouse and wanted the real game to start up again.

It is always implied that Spencer hurt someone or killed someone and Spencer has had more than one flashback where she has blood or blood splatter on her that night. But something doesn’t add up….If Spencer hurt someone the night Ali went missing..why in the pilot episode does she walk into the barn in the same clothes with no blood on her anywhere?
Because the scene at the barn is staged? Everything about the scene feels “fake.” It’s the “This is what we are gonna say if anyone asks” scenario that we are witnessing. The scene at the barn is the first lie the liars told us. The lie that started it all.
Love this explanation. Marlene did say we are seeing it from a POV so everything that they are saying might not be true.
- He moved into his own apartment and just left all his stuff there. (That’s where Jason & Emily found the Cape May photos.) Where was he really living?
- Mrs. D was killed soon after he filed for divorce. What was the reason for the divorce?
- We don’t know when/how/if he found out about Jessica’s affairs and that he wasn’t Charles/Jason’s father.
- His wife’s body was buried next door to their house, in Peter Hastings - her lover’s - backyard.
- He could have lied that he found Charles trying to kill Ali because hated Charles because he knew he wasn’t his father.
- He lied about Charles at first. There’s really no excuse for that at this point.
- Jessica buried Charles without him because he was out of the country? He was just relieved? You’d think he would come home from anything for a tragedy like that.
- He says Charles’s death was a suicide. Maybe he’s lying.
1) How is Bethany involved in A’s vendetta?
Things to remember:
- She was in Radley when Charles DiLaurentis and Marion Cavanaugh were.
- Mrs. D wanted to be close to her and took her horse riding at a barn. (Maybe a barn/ apple orchard like the one from Charles’s childhood?) Bethany hated Mrs. D, possibly because Mrs. D had an affair with her dad.
- She ran away from Radley and was buried alive the night Ali went missing, dressed like Ali.
- Melissa Hastings buried her alive, believing she was protecting Spencer, who she thought had already killed her.
- The A team dug up the body - that was identified as Ali’s - and returned it to Jason in exchange for $50K on the Halloween train. Medical records were switched so there is a possibility that there was another body identified as Ali which was later switched with Bethany’s body.

2) How is CeCe involved in A’s vendetta?
Things to remember:
- CeCe checked herself into Radley, impersonating Alison and later visited Mona in Radley with help from Wren.
- She dated Wilden, then Jason.
- CeCe lied to the PLLs about knowing Wilden, then fled the country because the police believe she was the one who killed Wilden.
- She broke up with Jason the day after Ali went missing.
- CeCe worked for the A team (spying on Ezra in a hoodie) and on behalf of Alison (dressing as redcoat to distract A in the sawmill). It is unclear where her loyalties lie.
- CeCe and Alison go to great lengths to protect each other, though we don’t know how they met and their friendship was kept secret from the PLLs.
- Her ex roommate says CeCe hated the PLLs because she believes them responsible for her being kicked out of UPenn (when a girl was pushed down the stairs at Ian’s frat party).

3) Who killed Marion Cavanaugh?
- Marion spent time in Radley at the same time as Bethany and Charles.
- Marion Cavanaugh was pushed from the roof of Radley. A blonde girl - a “fragile” Radley patient - was with her (Bethany Young?). Mrs. D bribed Wilden to leave that out of the police report so it would look like a suicide and the girl would be protected.
- A gave Toby a trail of clues about Marion, and seemed to want Toby to learn the truth about her murder.

4) Why was Mrs. D. killed?
- Mrs. DiLaurentis and Mr. Hastings had an affair, which produced Charles DiLaurentis (because he was born before Jason). Mr. DiLaurentis never knew that he wasn’t the father, as far as we know.
- Mrs. D moved the family to Rosewood to stay close to Charles when he was committed to Radley.
- Mrs. D got matching little girl dresses for presumably Ali and another girl one Christmas when Ali was a kid. When Ali found them, Mrs. D told her to lie about finding 2 dresses to her father and say that she only found one.
- Mrs. D served on the board of directors at Radley and tried to buddy up to Bethany Young. Mrs. D had an affair with Bethany’s father and Bethany hated Mrs. D.
- Mrs. D bribed Wilden to omit the “fragile” Radley patient (a blonde girl) who was on the rooftop with Marion Cavanaugh when she was murdered, so it would look like a suicide and the patient would be protected.
- Although Mrs. D disapproved of the infamous yellow top, Alison wore it that night after finding it as a gift, with a note that appeared to be signed by Mrs. D.
- The night Ali disappeared, Mrs. had ordered her not to go out. She got a phone call (that Bethany had escaped Radley?) and was worried.
- Mrs. D saw someone bury Alison alive the night she disappeared, and didn’t tell the cops.
- Mrs. D wrote an email to someone saying “I can’t protect you anymore” before she was killed.
- Mrs. D saw Spencer with a shovel and was ready to put the blame on Spencer for Ali’s murder, but Mr. Hastings convinced her not to.
- After Ali was found alive, and before she was reunited with her mom, Mrs. D was murdered. Right before she was murdered, she talked to the cops about how she saw Spencer with a shovel that night (or the document with her testimony was found, I forgot what happened).

5) Why was Wilden killed?
Things to remember:
- He went to Cape May with Ali and CeCe the summer Ali went missing. The PLLs never knew, and CeCe and Melissa (who CeCe says was also there) never told anyone.
- Wilden may be the “beach hottie” that Ali was afraid got her pregnant (Ali never had sex with other beach hottie suspects Ezra or Ian).
- Wilden dated CeCe.
- Wilden went to high school with Jason, CeCe, and Melissa.
- Mrs. D bribed Wilden to omit from the police report the patient who was on the roof with Marion Cavanaugh when she was murdered.
- Wilden and Melissa Hastings dressed as the Queen of Hearts on the Halloween train and he drugged Aria and attacked Spencer. He was working for A, and Melissa was bribed into taking orders from him.
- Before he was murdered, Wilden was trying to bribe Ashley Marin into giving him money to flee the country. He seemed to be worried that the PLLs knew he was in Cape May and that CeCe was back in town.

6) Why was Ian killed?
Things to remember:
- He, Jason and Garrett ran the N.A.T. club. Maybe he saw something he shouldn’t have when he was spying on his neighbors.
- Ian and Melissa were on and off high school/college sweethearts. A girl he flirted with was pushed down the stairs at one of his frat parties when he first started dating Melissa. The PLLs were there. CeCe was blamed for pushing the girl and was expelled.
- Ian cheated on Melissa with Spencer and Alison.
- A year after Ali went missing, Ian returned to Rosewood and got back together with Melissa. They eloped and Melissa got pregnant. She lost the baby soon after Ian was killed and lied about it, pretending to still be pregnant for months so she wouldn’t have to publicly deal with Ian’s death and the baby’s at once. Melissa was blackmailed into doing things for A without her fake baby bump while she was still publicly faking her pregnancy.
- Ian tried to kill Spencer when Spencer thought he killed Ali. Ali saved Spencer from Ian at the bell tower and claims she saw Ian leave alive.
- A sent texts from Ian’s phone, leading Melissa to his body. A also compiled a suicide note for him and tried to frame Spencer for the fake texts A sent to Melissa from Ian’s phone.
- Wren helped Melissa by driving her to Ian’s body with the medical supplies A made Melissa believe Ian needed.

Why are these characters re-emerging?
Isn’t it suspicious that Dr. Sullivan is back in the story? She took orders from A to protect her son. Who’s her son?
This character Dean had a tense moment with Jason and told Spencer not to trust him. He will be back on the show.

Are any of the new characters going to be involved in the mystery or are they just distractions? Jonny was such a big part of season 5, I think there is more to his story.

The DiLaurentis family moved away when Jessica was pregnant with the first son… Assuming it was Jason, Peter didn’t ask questions. But since Charles is older, Peter would be the father of Peter and Jason the son of Kenneth. Right?

Exactly!!! Charles is a Hastings — imo. Because why else wouldn’t Peter have known about Charles if Charles was already born when Jason was conceived?
