I’m sorry, I must have missed the scene where Eren saved Thomas from a life of sex slavery, gave him a home when he had nothing, repeatedly risked his life to protect him through the entire series, Thomas tried to kiss Eren, and Eren promised to be with him together before awakening inner powers he possessed for the sole purpodse of not wanting to say goodbye to Thomas.

Oh, wait, what? All that didn’t happen with Eren and Thomas?

It did, in fact, happen with Eren and Mikasa?

Ah, okay.

It’s almost like Eren and Mikasa have actual relationship development.

Look at how she blushes when someone call her brother “boyfriend”. That’s totally the reaction everyone has when their sibling is referred to as “boyfriend”. Why would you get disgusted and say “um no he’s my brother” when you can blush and look down in embarrassment?
