The man behind the homophobia scandal is dead now. And each chick fil a is individually owned and operated which means the owners have a say in what they do with their money. I work at one and the restaurant owner donates to pro-lgbt organizations and hires lgbt employees. We're also located in a very low income area so a lot of our proceeds go into food drives so we can pass out our sandwiches to the homeless, which includes a lot of lgbt youth, so if you're worried about what your free sandwich is supporting just do a little bit of research into the location first.
