i acknowledge that the Kup’s team in AHM doesn’t actually seem to be the Wreckers (….for some reason??), but i really wish it was 

in part because i’m interested in the concept of suicide-attempt-via-Wreckers-membership (or at least, joining the Wreckers as a form of Russian Roulette), which i think it makes a lot of sense for Drift given his self-sacrificial tendencies

and also because i think it makes a lot of sense if Drift’s presence among the Autobots is being tolerated because there’s an implicit assumption that he’s going to die anyway

honestly i think the rest of this works even if they are not, technically, the Wreckers? they’re still a bunch of ex-Wreckers doing Wrecker-y things. makes sense that everyone (including Drift) would expect Drift to get killed
