Summer stared at her son Ashton, he was in his mid 20s now and she was keenly aware, somehow he had grown from boy who loved his father, christmastime and locomotive trains, to a man who was - rather out of the blue, and rather a shock - dating a man named Leo. She watched the two men, looking at photos of her son’s childhood together, laughing and intimate. She had never seen her boy so soft, so tender before it was a welcome surprise. She didn’t care about Leo being a man - he seemed nice, polite, charming in good way and wickedly funny, but what she did care about was the rather obvious fact that Leo was a drug addict.  Addicts were hard people to keep, hard people to love. Not impossible, of course but it was an uphill battle. She signaled for her husband to join her in the hallway, they had things to discuss. “So” she said in the lowlight of the hallway, closing the door to the lounge softly, “thoughts on Leo”

He paused for a moment, he didn’t take Ash for a drug user. Then again sometimes you didn’t really know people, everyone had their own secrets. Suddenly he could tell that Summer wasn’t having any of it, “Let’s not put the cart before the horse we don’t know what is going on. They could just be dating, maybe he’s on the fresh road to recovery,” It had been a long time coming, that they needed to sit down with their son and evaluate where they stood and how they could possibly help him. “It’s been rough for him, and us automatically assuming he’s doing drugs could mean to him that we’ve lost faith and respect in him,” he crossed his arms and stared at his feet. He felt heavy, like suddenly a huge weight sat on his shoulders.

“So he’s not in the best shape, I guess I see what you’re getting at, you don’t think Ash is doing drugs do you?” A slight incredulous light comes to his eyes. He’s now worried about his only son. “So— what do you want to do about it?” He furrowed his eyebrows.

He’d never really felt as though his kids relationships were his affair. Unless one of them rubbed him the wrong way. Though since Leo had entered their home he hadn’t really thought about it “Seems like a solid kid, might have some issues in the back though,” his eyes shift down the hallway and then back to Summer, lifting an eyebrow in slight concern. Then he relaxes and smiles a bit looking back at Summer “Why do you ask?”

A laugh fell from her mouth, a laugh she couldn’t help but offered so much of an emotional release to her that she kept laughing. It took her a moment to regain her composure, doubled over now with hysteria.

“Oh! That will be one hell of a hospital visit. ‘Hello, yes, my family just got mauled by a fucking werewolf. How has your night been?’ That’ll go over well!” She gives one last chuckle before shaking her head and pulling her arms against her chest. “Thank you, for saving my life. Whatever trauma I’ve received from watching what I did, nothing’s going to fix that now. Doesn’t matter if I stay with you, go home, or go to the hospital. But that thing has my scent and I’m betting I’m safest with you now. You seem to know more about this than I do, and you damn well believe me more than any doctor would.

He watched the road and listened to her laugh, Dean couldn’t help but chuckle to himself. “Well, I do have some experience patching myself up so,” He paused “Whatever injuries ya got, they shouldn’t be too much to handle. Are you okay?” he briefly glanced over and then continued to watch the road. The best place he could think of was the motel but maybe a library would be safer limited entrances and exits and he could ward the doors. Research whatever that was (if it hadn’t been a werewolf) it would be something else.

Every muscle in her body tightened, apprehension swelling in her chest as she heaved a sigh. “As crazy as it sounds…” her eyes drifted across the dashboard until they landed on him. “I believe you and that feels even crazier that I’m admitting that.” Ophelia’s hands twisted nervously, her heart pounding when she remembered the way the man werewolf had looked at her before going after her father. Why hadn’t he attacked her when he had the chance? How did this man next to her know what that thing was? Suddenly, the woman felt sick, her stomach lurching and her throat becoming very tight.

“I need some air,” her voice was unsteady now, her body shaking as she struggled to keep herself calm. “Is it okay if we stop?”

His voice was low "Sure," pulling the car over to the side of the road he didn't budge for a moment, usually, when others were involved they'd catch on but he was worried that she thought he was just as crazy as the thing that had killed her family. He got out as well and leaned up against his door as he shut it, putting his hands into his jacket pockets. "You need to get to a hospital, the trauma from that probably just messed with your brain," He decided getting her to a safe area and going back to investigate would be his best option but he knew she was scared.

SHAKESPEARE  AESTHETICS.

Bold all that apply to your muse

Muse: Klaus Hargreeves

Macbeth:

the howl of wolves. moonless nights. dirt under fingernails. stained silk. chattering teeth. voices hoarse and cracked. rotting fruit. echoing drums. dry heaving. hanging cobwebs. stifling humidity. bloodshot eyes. the roughness of rusted steel. wild rosebushes. muscle cramps. the sound of splintering wood.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream:

crackling fires. ivy crawling on stone. the faint music of running water. petrichor. dirty, bare feet. tattered clothing. thistledown. wilted wildflower crowns. late evening birdsong. curling leaves. a symphony of croaking frogs. drifting feathers. the eerie sound of windchimes at night.  humming bees. beds of clover.

Romeo and Juliet:

warm golden lamplight. worn shoes. crumbling brick walls. whispered poetry. embroidered satin. cool, hazy mornings. tousled hair. rosewater. flushed cheeks. distant orchestras. unfinished marble statues. cobblestone streets. loose threads. ink smudged on parchment. tapping fingers. dust illuminated by sunlight. poison vials.

Hamlet:

shattered glass. a cluster of fraying ribbons. unanswered knocks on doors. lingering dampness. white noise. inexplicable drafts. migraines. bleeding ears. the taste of metal. reflected mirrors. dry, cracked lips. the sound of tearing paper. fogged windows. memories of dreams. tarnished silver. protruding veins.

He wasn't prepared for what was actually on her mind, with everything that had happened he could understand why Nick would be her priority. Sighing heavily he nodded as he listened to her, "I won't lie to you, it's going to be difficult. It's not something you do every day. I think you forget cous that you have this willpower about you, always going above witch law. You'll have your friends and family behind you," he sat forward.

"Anything in the meantime I can do to help ease you, just ask. Even if that includes" he takes a long pause before continuing "moving my potions out of the refrigerator," he chuckles a bit and looks to her hoping his words come as a comfort to her.

AU//Dean and Ophelia

Ophelia blinked hard as if she could snap herself out of the shock and into a clearer mindset. “I…I don’t know for sure what it was but-” the woman looked over at him, taking in his appearance for the first time now that the panic was slowly fading. There was something very calming about this man, something she felt she could trust. “He looked like a man, but he had really sharp teeth and long claws.” What if this man thought she was insane? “His eyes were not human. And-” a soft, self deprecating laugh caught in her throat. “He could run really fast. I thought I’d pass out if I had ran any faster to get away from him. I’m honestly suprised I lost him.”

Dean had both eyes on the road, he knew what it probably was and would go back for it. She'd probably want to call the police but he figured his best bet was to probably just tell her what it was. Though he contemplated that scenario briefly in his head and the traumatic experience she'd just went through might not be the best time. Another thought was that the shock might have screwed with her memories to make sense of what had happened. He decided to opt for scenario one and just explain. "This," he paused for a moment "might sound a little crazy, specially for someone you've just run into. You can take this however you want to, but," again he paused hesitating to confirm what she had seen "That sounds a lot like, and I'm just spitballing here but, a werewolf," he avoids eye contact with her and continues to focus on driving.

AU//Dean and Ophelia

The woman held onto his arm tight, following him back to the car as the rain gradually began to fall heavier. “My name is Ophelia. I don’t know how long I’ve been out here, but it was sunset when we had been attacked.” She felt like she had been running for hours, though she knew that wasn’t logical because the site where her brother and father had been killed was less than a mile away from the road. Perhaps whatever had attacked them had just left her bleeding and scared hours ago. But Ophelia knew that was a false sense of security. Her thoughts were still frantic even as she got in the car with the man, her head reeling. She didn’t know if they should call the police now or if she should wait until she was at the hospital, she didn’t even know if the bodies of her family would still be where she had seen them last.

There were so many questions and fears swirling in her head that Ophelia chose not to voice any of them. She hardly had the strength to stand on her own, she was in no position to be making decisions about the situation- not when she was too afraid to even look out the car window into the dark woods she had fled from.

“Thank you for helping me.”

image

Keeping her steady and helping her to the car he managed to open the passenger door for her, "Sunset was a little while ago," he looked around to make sure nothing was out to surprise them. He knew that whatever killed her family would move on quickly if it hadn't dine and dashed. Once he had helped her into the car he got into the driver's seat and started the car up again. Driving away "If you don't mind me asking what killed your family?" He knew her shock would probably distract her from the fact he wasn't panicking like any normal person would. "You don't have to answer that but," he paused for a moment before driving "While it's fresh in your mind."

AU//Dean and Ophelia

The woman silently thanked the man for stopping, the rush of fear quickly leaving her, drawing her attention again to how weak she felt. The rain had started to drizzle, chilling her already shaking body. “Please help me sir-” Ophelia’s throat was hoarse, her throat burning from the screams she had let out while watching-

“My family was murdered. I don’t know what that thing was. It wasn’t completely human. Please help me.” She had enough strength to ramble, but her shock held her rooted to the gravel as she stared up at the man.

image

It took him a moment "Alright, let's go. Can you walk?" He knelt down in front of her, offering her his arms so that she might steady herself on them if she tried to get up. "I'll take you to the hospital, what's your name?" Dean was thinking he could've called an ambulance but they were out pretty far and if that thing was to come find her he needed to keep her safe and fight it off. "How long have you been out here?" He couldn't do much unless he got her to the car, though it didn't help Sam wasn't around to help her and he could go find what killed her family.

"Stop putting your potion ingredients in the fridge!" (From Sabrina)

Avatar

Ambrose creased his eyebrows and smiled a bit at Sabrina’s nagging, he found it hilarious as to how precise she always had to be with things. He perched himself lazily on the porch and when she had approached him he almost hadn’t noticed how riled up she seemed to be. “My bad cousin, what did you find that bothered you so? Can’t be that extreme, is something else bothering you?” Arching an eyebrow he examines her for a moment, a mischievous smile still on his face.

Just as soon as her anger had swelled inside of her, it was gone. Seeing the smile on Ambrose’s face, hearing the teasing tone of his voice- it all made her argument seem trivial and childish. And she was no longer a child. Taking in a slow breath, Sabrina relaxed her shoulders and took a seat beside him.

“Does there have to be another reason I’m upset? Nothing else is bothering me.”

But there was.

image

He chuckled lightly, he could always tell when something else was on her mind “I’ve watched you grow up, I know exactly when there’s something running around that mind of yours,” watching her for a moment he was still smiling a little “Course I’m also the only one in the house besides auntie Z who annoys you,” clasping his hands together he leaned forward “Now what’s bothering you?” Furrowing his eyebrows together he looks down.
