[Project] (KH)Re:born!!!

I've been wanting to do a pinned post talking/rambling about my projects, so I'll do it now while I've still got some free time!

Anyway, for various reasons including wanting to keep it simple (for goldfish brain reasons), @amiahoshi and I decided to call this project "Katekyo Hitman Re:born!!!". We call it either Re:born!!! or KHRe for short. I also tried editing a title logo out of it some time ago (inspired from the og logo) for whenever it will be necessary!

Actually, I've just been tagging posts under this project under #khre (since mid-2023) because when I type #khr, I'll immediately remember to also type #khre. Anyway, more info below! (Ein from the future: it will be long)

Note: For any typos/grammatical mistakes, sorry not sorry this is just me rambling, so no beta we die like Tsuna did every time Reborn shoots him in Daily Life Arc.

TLDR: This project has become like my creative sandbox playground. The KHR brainrot is still going VERY STRONG, and has been for the past two years. I can't believe I didn't discover this series earlier. I am so normal about KHR.

Ok no seriously this type of love and dedication to an original character is peak. Like, I'm in love with Kurumi because I felt how much love and dedication was put into this character profile and in the project in general. Also because she's cute as hell!

Will absolutely check the wiki soon, and I can't wait for Kana's profile!! (so I can draw a fanart of her too maybe when I get enough oxygen in my brain)

no more cold and calculating i want warm and calculating. i want characters who use deductive reasoning to figure out whether their friend would like a wool or cotton quilt based off of their lifestyle, career, hobbies, and habits. i want "your nails are often chipped because you work for a law firm as a typist for this company which notoriously underbudgets their IT department, so ive bought you a keyboard cover that will not only prevent manicure damage but is also sensory friendly because I know you dislike certain clicking noises". i want characters who figure out their friends entire schedules and social battery levels just by examining who only use that info to know when the best time is to hang out with them. i want characters who create elaborate, supervillain level schemes just to get their hands on some collectible they know their best friend wants. most of all i want characters who do not use intelligence and reasoning skills as a reason to be cruel but as a means to be kind

San//rio Cafe Collab Reinforcements! This is one of the artworks I commissioned (skeb-style) from @azaracyy and it's so 🥹🥹💖💖✨✨ I really recommend commissioning her here! TLDR of the stuff Cyl & I talked about:

  • Kurumi helps out with serving the food! She's super strong, so she can carry several plates in one go. The pudding that Kurumi is carrying is a replacement for the one Tsuna dropped when he slipped. She does her job smoothly, they just strictly don't let her prepare any food in the kitchen.
  • Kana helps out with taking orders! She's very effective at keeping certain customers from having any ideas of self-entitlement (they're too scared). She may or may not be in an "assert your dominance" competition with some other members of the staff (e.g. Hibari). A fight may break out sooner or later.

KHR discord server

So my beloved mutual @childe-of-saulot put this idea in my head and now I've read several articles and watched one (1) youtube video about how to run a discord server. And before I really dive into it and loose myself in hyperfocus I wanted to ask you guys:

For your information that isn't for any of my fanfics, it would be a general KHR fandom server. Also, I've never run a discord server before so this might be a bit messy at first.

for the past few days, i've just been running gIaze on my art lol im just glad that the v2 update has started working for me bc all the ge//n a///i bs rlly makes me think twice on posting sometimes. so this gives a lot of peace of mind for me. made me remember that i was planning on upgrading my laptop's ram(?) for a little bit before, i should do it soon b4 i get too busy again next month

#personal#in v1 it used to take so long and the output is always a black smudge no matter the settings and even at the lowest setting#so i gave up on using it initially#like idm if one run took 1-2hrs but like if its gonna be trial & error and it's a black smudge every time#i'll just lose patience and it's like putting a strain on my laptop for nothing bc whenever i run it i can't use other programs at all#but v2 renders a bit faster now (30-60 min average?) and then the output is also gucci at first try (with barely noticeable artifacts)#and they made it work so much lighter too bc now i can play my yt music and draw while it's running in the bg#like the v1 to v2 jump in improvement is so real! im really impressed!#just me rambling bc im so 🤩🤩🤩 with it rn lmaooo
