Bella, who doesn’t update anymore. At least on tumblr. She’s one of the first fan fic authors I’ve encountered on tumblr and trust me, she remains to this day, one of the best I’ve read. Her stories are beyond beautiful.

Nix! She’s got so many fun stories, including some of my fave sexy ones. She could be writing the most mundane of scenes and make it somehow fresh and exciting.

Mika, because she tends to write a lot about the Spain NT, which, ya know, I like. She and her blog co-owners have lots of options from fluffy to heartbreaking to smexy. They never seem to run out of ideas.

Can I cheat and mention a fourth? The ladies at wewroteitonpaper, for writing about players that are rarely written about. And they do it so wonderfully too.

We try to keep it as realistic/close to the character's decision-making, because we build them so much in our heads that while writing it's more of a "this is the path he'll take, his personality/experiences will lead him to this action" so there :) I can't wait to start on the new story as well! ☺️☺️☺️ love you too, thank you so much again for such lovely words! 😍😍

The cool breeze that came from the water caressed his face, calming him down even just for a little bit. 

Bilbao twinkles during the summer - everything the sun hits shines, making it hard to look at sometimes. He usually prefers how the autumn paints the city, but he’s taking this as a good sign - maybe the heavens are smiling down upon him. 

“We’re near, right?” he asked weakly, barely looking to his left. 

“Are your eyes closed or did you really erase this city from your head?” Sergio asked, laughter in his tone.

“What kind of surprise is this?” she asked, her eyes in slits as she looked at Sergio and Javi suspiciously. 

“If he tells you then it loses the whole essence of it, don’t you think?” answered Sergio, raising his eyebrow at her, being a smart ass. 

She huffed and rolled her eyes at the both of them before sitting on the floor and letting Javi’s dogs give her their customary welcome kisses. She swears he lets them eat smelly food on the days she drops by, Basti and Luna’s breath are ridiculous today, but she loves them and can’t ever say no.

Chapter 33 - Approval 

Sergio had a good feeling for tonight’s game. It was so good that he almost bet on it, but since they were young he and Javi had a deal that they will never bet on anything that includes either of them, even if it’s for the good outcome. 

He locked every thing that needed to be locked and let his eyes sweep around his room for the last time to check if he’s left anything - there’s none, so he’s free to go to the airport. 

As he was going out and locking the front door, his phone started ringing. 

“Hello?”

Chapter 32 - Javi, The Mature One

He has never been in this neighbourhood. It’s technically still Munich, and he sees there’s a station nearby that takes you to the centre, but this feels so…suburban? 

He walked another block, multitasking looking at google maps and looking up so he won’t run into anything. He’s debating playing Pokemon Go because this is a new area but that would just elongate this whole process, he can do that on the way home, yes, focus first, no need to keep delaying. 

The dot says he’s arrived. He looked up and saw an apartment building, not too fancy but it looked really nice, with shrubbery and random plants growing on every balcony.

There’s a river of sweat forming on every part of his body, most likely converging into a lake down the small of his back, and he knows it’s not because of the summer heat. 

In real time, it’s probably only been a few seconds since Karin admitted her feelings towards him, but in overthinking seconds, it feels like an eternity. The barrage of reactions from his mind seemed like they’re in a shouting match, each wanting to be heard first. 

He shut them off. He only wants to hear one voice right now, and it’s hers.

“Ugh, look at her smug face. She’s probably so happy she’s making him uncomfortable…he looks less than thrilled to be there though? Or…honestly I don’t know..” she wanted to stab her phone screen or throw it away in anger, but didn’t want to seem like a psychopath in public. 

“Are you okay? Why are you even looking at that?” asked Sergio with a hint of amusement in his tone. He’s probably enjoying her bubbling wrath. 

“It popped up on my newsfeed! Maite tagged him in his personal account and I’m free to view it. God I hope no one sees this publicly, imagine what they would say!” 

“Popped up on my newsfeed too but I ignored it,” he muttered, acting all high and mighty because he took the higher road. Karin rolled her eyes at him, making him smile triumphantly.

Hi! Okay so I wrote about Antoine years ago (Real Sociedad days, that long ago) and it’s fluffy and honestly? It’s one of my most favorite stories I’ve ever written. So I kind of want to preserve it. It can feel like a vacation since it’s at San Sebastian, and also it’s a super fluffy one so hey, all grounds covered!
