no but really i think it’s so interesting that people feel like they have to project their own opinions onto him so badly. believe it or not, you can have opinions that are different than louis. if you hate one direction, you can hate them all you want, but that doesn’t mean you have to be validated by the idea that louis could hate them and cling onto any moment you can to say “ha ha! he agrees! 1d sucks!”. maybe he is proud of the band he was in for 5 years and actually genuinely enjoys the songs he created or his bandmates created and that he performed night after night. maybe he likes having one direction as a part of his overall legacy. it’s not at all a shocking concept lmao.

you know what's extra fucking amazing about harry singing stockholm syndrome with three solo albums under his belt?

that he chose to do it at his peak, when, i dare say, most of his fanbase (including casual fans) only know his solo music and barely know one direction or hate the association with it.

so, he went and brought that song back! yes, he had it on his live on tour setlist, when his fanbase was still mostly directioners and he only had ONE album. but now he said, "yes, i'm gonna sing this song, instead of many other songs i could sing from my own THREE albums, and if you know it, we're besties. if you don't, sorry for you, go look up the best band ever. one band, one dream, one direction, bitches!"
