He bursts through the front doors and sees Bane immediately, the largest man in the waiting area, gaze cast down at the bespeckled linoleum and under a light so green he was beginning to feel sick just being there. “What happened?” He asks breathlessly, eyes scanning for blood and bruises.

“Car accident. Unfortunately I am not built like the tank I used to be,” he huffed, leaning back in the very tiny plastic waiting room chair. “I insisted they wait on the scans until you’ve arrived.”

      A pause, Wesley looks the other man over         with raised brows, unbuttoning his suit as         he always did before sitting down.

      “ Is there a reason you’re shirtless?  Do you           just dislike shirts? “

            “I was exercising. I typically don’t wear a shirt, only              the tactical vest I own, so I suppose it’s more natural              than not to be shirtless.” He shrugged, watching the              man sit down.

            “Seems as if many people believe you to be rather              dominant, though all of my observations suggest the              contrary.”

      “ The first one that comes to mind is           ‘gagged with a cock and a gun, he           wouldn’t be able to talk like that‘,           another related to fucking me with           a shotgun.  They’re very fond of           their weapons and degradation. “  

          “No respect for humans, I suppose. Or their weaponry.            There is no point to ruining a shotgun with the act of            sodomy. Nor risk another human being’s life in such a            way. Tch.” He shakes his head, laughing. “Though I            suppose no one would deny you have the mouth for it.”

      “ James has occasionally let his           mouth run.  And the Russians           I interact with are very crude           when they don’t think you can           understand them. “

            “Care to share with the class some of the              things they’ve said to you? I’m curious.”

      “ Actually, I was going to ask the same           question.  So no, I suppose.  “

            “You don’t seem to be all that fazed from the               affection. Is it commonplace for these things to happen?”

      “ Mr. Bane. “

               “-- Did you require something?”

“Purposefully?” His jaw seesawed forward   then back. “What exactly are you keeping from me?   I was not always here. And all I have is your word.” Barsad was less fond of elevators than he was of Gotham’s    tunnels but he followed Bane inside the steel trap and    leaned against the back wall, eyes high to watch the   General more closely. “Why this secrecy?”

“Yes, purposefully. I knew there would be misunderstandings and I encouraged them. My apologies.” He shrugged, not actually sorry about the whole ordeal. It was a short elevator ride to the top of the building. It wasn’t soon before they were at his apartment door.

“Her name is Lily. She may react aggressively at first, so as I said, take no offense to that. She’ll warm up to you eventually.” And with that, he unlocked the door and pushed it open, to almost immediately have a large gray blur slam into his shins.
