Bay Area Clone Club S5 Premiere Party

Hello BACC! Long time, no talk! 

Since season 5 is fast approaching and it will be our last opportunity to do livewatches with one another, we figured it’s high time for another watch party!

SO, we are having an Orphan Black Season 5 Premiere Party at @spacenuggetrey ‘s apartment in the East Bay! 

Details:

What: S5 premiere party!

When: Saturday, June 10 5pm- 10pm 

Where: @spacenuggetrey’s apartment in El Cerrito, conveniently close to BART

They don’t have BBC America, so we will find a stream to watch or get the episode in another means and we can put it on their TV and make it all fancy!

Let’s do one last shebang in the Bay and have OB themed food and good times once again. 

Anyone is welcome! If you’re interested in coming, please send an ask to this blog to RSVP and we will connect you with the address of the party location! Please keep in mind that the apartment is not the largest space, so we may not be able to accommodate a huge number of people, but if we get a large enough interest, there may be opportunities for all of us to get a hotel room or two for cheap!

There will be a S5 Finale party in LA, with @socalcloneclub, a repeat of our epic @bayareacloneclub /@socalcloneclub S3 premiere party of yore. So stay tuned for that, as well!

So we all know that this June marks the end of an era. It’s the end of the trip, man. The last season. The final hurrah. This means we are long overdue for a shindig! Who is interested in attending a premiere or a finale party?? Even if you haven’t watched in years or are no longer in fandom, the Clone Club Dance Party is open to you.

Last night was awesome SoCal Clone Club!

SoCal Clone Club Meet Up!

I met some awesome people today - there are just some super cool people in the OB fandom here on the West Coast, let me tell you. :-) Mattie, of course, had a grand old time modeling at every opportunity.

The sign in the first picture was brought by oddisamazing, who did a FANTASTIC job organizing the whole thing - and how AWESOME is that sign?! She also made/brought our totally rad name tags, pictured with Mattie in the middle. 

The last couple pictures are of Clone Club enjoying some good ol’ competitive virtual basketball. You know, as we do. ;-)

None Pizza With Left Beef will be 9 years old this year.

!!!!!!!Southern California people!!!!!!!! If anyone in the Cypress/Anaheim area and surrounding cities would like to give this kitty a home please please contact me. I need to find a home for her and I want her to be going to a permanent home. She’s young and I’m almost sure she’s been spayed. Previous owners abandoned her. Very affectionate and loving and seems to be vocal.

Do I need a Comic-Con badge to get into the meetup? How much is this going to cost me? No badges required. No monies needed. That’s right. #CloneClub is a free club with zero dues, and this event will cost you the low, low price of nothing.

WOW. How do I get tickets?! No tickets. The meetup is first come, first served. The line outside the House of Blues officially starts at 8AM pt. OBTumblr will be there early, unless our alarm doesn’t go off.

What will happen at this meetup? We’re cramming as much OB awesome as we can into two CLONETASTIC hours. We’ll have a Felix Photo Booth, a Seestra Tattoo Station, an Eye Patch Bedazzling Area, Surprise Guest Appearances, a DJ with Alison’s Fave 90s JAMS, and SO MUCH MORE.

This sounds epic. Should I come in cosplay? You mean cloneplay? Yes.

I voted for Marci Coates. Can I still come? No.
