“We can just keep the volume down. Surround sound is still cool even if it’s not super loud,” he pointed out, smiling down at them. “Besides, auditory stimulus is good for them,” he said, making up that fact on the spot. It was probably true, he figured - after all, he’d blasted music around his little sister when she was a newborn all the time and she was perfectly fine.

Ross stare at Jackson a moment before shaking his head. “Nope, not risking it.” He decided, picking Charlie up from his carrier. “We are going to the living room.” He cooed at him, kissing all over his face.

Bro,” Jackson groaned, but smirking at the whipped cream and licking a bit off the top anyway. “The home theatre, obviously,” he scoffed. “What’s even the point of having a home theatre if we just use your regular living room?” He rolled his eyes. “Use your brains, Sterling.”

“Hey, don’t be mean. I just thought it may be a little too loud for the twins.” He murmured, pointing to them in their carriers. Ross was letting Jasmine nap upstairs for a few hours and was going to watch after the twins.

“Oh man. You know I love the extra whipped cream on top, but I better not. Not only do I have my little sister and the cutest little girl to help look after, now I gotta watch out for my godchildren,” he said proudly. “Your boy’s gotta stay in tip-top shape.”
Ross simply rolled his eyes, putting extra whipped cream on anyways. “Oops?” He shrugged, handing the cup over to Jackson. “Did you want to watch the move in the home theater, or just in the living?”

“I think you’re more silly than I am. I bet the twins are going to be super silly.” He chuckled, rubbing her back. “You don’t have to do anything. Just you existing and loving me is enough. You make me happy. When I didn’t even know if I could truly be happy again. That’s everything, Jasmine. Really. It’s everything.”

“I think Charlie’s gonna be silly like his mummy and Charlotte’s gonna be practical like her daddy,” she decided, closing her eyes. “Ross…” She murmured, nuzzling her face against his neck. “You’re gonna make my heart explode,” she whispered, giggling a little. She tipped her face back to smile tiredly at him, pressing little kissed to the underside of his jaw. “Do you think it’s possible that you could be my soulmate even if I’m not yours?” She asked, grinning at him. “Because if it is then… then you’re my soulmate.”

"Hmmm... maybe." He agreed, shrugging a little. He chuckled at her stammer, closing his eyes. "Yes baby. It's very possible. We should sleep now though. It's been a very long night and morning for us... it's a good thing we don't have to go to school this week since we did our finals early..."

“That is okay baby. But you don’t have to be. We are perfect together.” He reassured her, pulling her closer. “Oh! Oh, okay. Well, it was because of that and your hand…” he blushed a little, kissing her gently. “Baby. I am thankful for you. You are… just everything. Everything. I could never thank you enough. No matter how hard I try. You make everything better.”

Jas smiled in relief, snuggling in nice and tightly to him. After all, he’d never given her a reason not to believe his words. She giggled a little against his lips and rubbing her nose against his. “You’re silly,” she said affectionately, wriggling her fingers under his shirt and rubbing his stomach. “I just like touching you,” she admitted, nudging her nose against his again. Jas blushed, biting her lip. “I didn’t even do anything…” She pointed out softly. “You’re the one who’s been giving me massages and reassurance and cuddles… And dealing with all my mood swings…” She pecked him on the lips. “You are my sun and stars…”

“Baby… do not worry, I love you so much. We cuddled before your stomach started getting bigger, silly. Remember? Don’t worry, lovebug. Everything will be fine.” He reassured her, kissing her cheek. At her movements he raised an eyebrow. “Baby… we can’t do anything sexual here. People would know.”

She nodded slowly, not wanting to start some kind of argument over this just because she wanted more reassurance. She gave him a small smile and kissed his cheek. “I know. I guess I’m just a little nervous,” she said shyly. Jas closed her eyes, still absently tracing her fingers and up and down his stomach, but his next words made her open her eyes sleepily. “What?” She asked, puzzled. “I wasn’t suggesting we do anything sexual…” She looked confused. “…Oh. Was it cus I said I like letting you know how much I appreciate you? I wasn’t suggesting like, a blowjob or a handjob. I don’t even think I’d have the energy to give you one of those,” she admitted, looking a little embarrassed. “I was just like… meaning with my words. I like telling you thank you so that you know. Like, so that you don’t ever have to ‘fill in the blanks’ to know how grateful I am for you,” she tried to explain. “…I don’t know if that made sense…”

She chewed her lip worriedly. “What happens if we aren’t cuddle-compatible?” She fretted. “Like… We didn’t really spend that many nights together before I started getting bigger… We didn’t even really spend that much time together before I was pregnant… What happens if you don’t like… What happens if I like snuggling in really close and you like your space?” Her brow creased with concern. Jas pursed her lips and hid her face in his neck. “Nooo, I wanna thank you. I like letting you know how much I appreciate you,” she murmured, tracing her fingertips up and down his abdomen.

“Baby... do not worry, I love you so much. We cuddled before your stomach started getting bigger, silly. Remember? Don’t worry, lovebug. Everything will be fine.” He reassured her, kissing her cheek. “Yeah? It’s weird. I’m so used to there being so much space. It’ll take some getting used to.” He admitted, kissing the tip of her nose. “Understandable. They’re precious. I don’t blame you at all, lovebug.” He nodded at her question, starting to rub her back. “I’ll do anything you want.”

“Oh - uh - um - should I –” she awkwardly wriggled backwards so that there was some space. She gave him a sunny smile. “I want you to be comfortable,” she said earnestly, her eyes fluttering shut in content when he started to rub her back. Despite her resolve to give him space, she found herself shuffling closer again. “Anything?” She asked quietly, opening her eyes slowly and raising both eyebrows. “That feels so nice… thank you…” She murmured.

He chuckled a little, shaking his head. "I am comfortable as I can be in a hospital bed baby. You don't have to move away from me, silly. It'll just take some getting used to, just like your belly did." He promised, continuing to rub her back. "... anything witching reason and is safe to do... no need to thank me baby..." Ross kissed all over her face.

Ross nodded, chuckling some. “True. Very, very true.” He kissed the side of her head, wrapping his arms around her once the twins were taken from them. “I’m staying baby… I am not leaving you anytime soon.” He reassured her, pecking her lips. “So you love them more?” He asked with a smile, nuzzling her gently.

She relaxed into his side, tucked her face between his collarbone and his neck. “Good,” she whispered, her fingers clenching in the fabric of his shirt. She smiled a little. “It’s nice that I can cuddle this closely into you again,” she admitted, pressing her body against his completely. Jas peeked up at him and raised her hand, pinching her forefinger and thumb closely together. “They win by thiiiis much. To be fair, there are two of them. Two against one. You put up a real good fight, though.” She grinned cutely at him. “Baby, can… can you rub my back a little? It hurts…”

"Yeah? It's weird. I'm so used to there being so much space. It'll take some getting used to." He admitted, kissing the tip of her nose. "Understandable. They're precious. I don't blame you at all, lovebug." He nodded at her question, starting to rub her back. "I'll do anything you want."

Ross kissed her forehead, smiling widely. “Yeah but that’s okay. I’m fine not hearing those noises because of the reason.” He shrugged, calling a nurse in. “You can ask when the nurse here here baby. I’m tired too baby. And no, there’s no way they could love us as much as we love them.”

Jas shrugged. “It’s not like I can’t hear your noises,” she decided cheekily. She looked up when the nurse came in, reluctantly letting them take the twins back to the nursery and texting Phoebe to follow them, trusting her to make sure they got there safely. “Stay here,” she pleaded, wriggling onto her side and possessively draping her leg over him. She winced a little at the movement. Jas nudged her nose against his jawline and took a moment to admire him, sleepily counting each long eyelash. “I think I love you almost as much as I love them,” she whispered.

Ross nodded, chuckling some. "True. Very, very true." He kissed the side of her head, wrapping his arms around her once the twins were taken from them. "I'm staying baby... I am not leaving you anytime soon." He reassured her, pecking her lips. "So you love them more?" He asked with a smile, nuzzling her gently.
