Hey everybody :) I know it’s been a while, but I haven’t had any confessions submitted! Anyways, I’m watching this ‘documentary’ series on Lady Jane Grey on BBC and the woman was drawing the family tree and claimed that Henry VII only had three children! Mary, Margaret and Henry VIII. I’m thinking to myself, hmm, where’s Arthur? THE INACCURACIES ARE KILLING ME. Hello, the only reason he thought he could get a divorce was because he married his brothers wife. So when she talks about the break of the Catholic Church with Rome, I’m like AAAAAANNNNNDDDDD, why was that? (Excluding his infatuation for Anne Boleyn, of course)

Have you ever read Margaret George's novels? I'm interested in her novel about Elizabeth I and I can't decide about read it or not

Again, I’m pretty sure this author also writes fiction. I think I read a book by her a few years ago.. it was a book about Cleopatra. I think it was called The Diary of Cleopatra or The Memoirs of Cleopatra? Something like that. I’d say if you’re interested in it, then read it! :) Just bear in mind that it’s fiction, so while parts of it may be true - take it with a grain of salt. Let me know how it goes and if you like it! :) xo

Hi there! I was looking for good books about the Tudor era, can you help me? And, what's your opinion about Jean Plaidy's novels?

Hey love! Are you looking for a particular book on Tudor history? Any particular Kings or Queens or just general Tudor history? I strongly recommend books by Eric Ives and Alison Weir. There's also a book I recently received from my dad called "Divorced, Beheaded, Died..." by Kevin Flude. It's a small book, a bit of light reading, detailing each King and Queen of England. (: As for Jean Plaidy, I don't like to read historical fiction. I think she would be more preferable to Philippa Gregory, but historical fiction just isn't my thing. Have a nice day/night! (: xo

Do you think that Henry VIII from 2003 is a good movie?

Hey, sorry for the late reply, as you might’ve seen (if you’re still around) I was AWOL for a bit.

Anyway, I think it’s a pretty good movie! I wish they would’ve shown more of his relationship with KoA before Anne Boleyn came along. When I first saw it, I thought it was KoA giving birth to Mary instead of the birth of Fitzroy. And the Seymours. I wish they would’ve also shown more of his friendship with Anne of Cleves aswell. Also, Wolsey just randomly disappeared, lol. I can’t help but think what people with no real knowledge would’ve thought about all that. But overall, I think it’s a pretty good movie. I think it showed more of a human side to Henry than any of the other movies I’ve seen. Especially with Katherine Howard. :)

I’M BACCCCKKKK!

hey there my beautifully followers! miss me? haha.

I am SO VERY SORRY about not updating this blog! My laptop broke last year and I foolishly saved to buy the cheapest one I could find which happened to be a netbook. BIG MISTAKE. I literally couldn’t download anything, so I had no way to make your confessions. But I saved my butt up for a new laptop and this is perfect! I only have two in my inbox and I’m about to start making and queuing them. So go ahead and start submitting!

If you guys are still around. (:
