Thinking about lightless and ease. Reflecting that with Celestia.
Daily Sugar Belle #20
So for the ponies that join the Our Town, how much thought did they put into losing their cutie marks? You think some of them just jump right into this like “Oh I just lose my cutie marks? Let’s do it.” Or some them were like “Gimme some time to think about.” They went home, play with the idea, and came back willing to do this.

What makes a pony to become markless?
Day 30 of #repostober
I thought I already posted this piece but I can't find on my tumblr. So hey, new art for tumblr from 2019.
I like blobs. I figure Shoelace would like them too. Make it her thing.

#throwbackthursday to Nov 2013. Inspired by real life. I came home from college for Thanksgiving break and discovered a whole bunch of dead wasps in my bedroom. No one in my family realized this beforehand. I tried sleeping in that room that night but I was paranoid and I was hearing buzzing. But don’t think we found any live wasps and my mother just vacuum up all the dead wasps. We still don’t know where these wasps came from.

Reblogging a reblog.
Shoeunit’s Top Ten Games that I Played in 2017
1: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
Mood music: Main Theme (Live) by Manaka Kataoka and Yasuaki Iwata
The moment I decided to make Breath of the Wild my game of the year was when I was listening to Giantbomb discussed what games have the best music of 2017. BotW didn’t make Giantbomb’s top 3 for that category but when they play some samples of it, I was hit with strong emotions. BotW music made me feel… nostalgic for when I started exploring Hyrule. I mentioned this before but I love open-world game and there something wonderful about BotW Hyrule. It got a somber atmosphere because it is sort of a post-apocalypse world. There are ruins, monsters, and remains of scary robots scattered about. And yet the scenery is beautiful and you go to beautiful locations. Hyrule is huge with snowy mountain, desert, volcano, tropic, etc. It is a lot of work and time to simply travel but it feels like meaningful discovery. Especially with towers where you can climb up high and see vast swaths of lands. Towers are perfect for spotting shrines, puzzle rooms scattered around Hyrule. Despite being so huge, Hyrule can also feel intimate. You’ll recognize people. Citizens in villages are named characters with their own identity. You might see the same meat seller or the same troublesome truffle hunters at different locations. You can tell if someone is far from their hometown. Those details are enough to make this huge world feels like that it is composed of connected parts.
Just also want to express an unpopular opinion. I like the durable aspect of weapons: weapons can be destroyed after certain amount of usage. It is another thing to manage but I like how it forces me to use a variety of weapons and I like how I become aware of where to find certain weapons.
As for my drawing, cooking is a wonderful activity in BotW. It is another way to problem-solve by producing dishes or potions that can power yourself in certain ways. There is also a fun jingle with it. Also in the drawing, Applejack is sporting one of my favorite clothing gears, the Sheikah set. I painted my orange as a homage to Naruto.
Day 25 of #repostober
Dang, I really do love talking about video games.
