I would have LOVED to be a fly on the wall at Scooter Braun's house when Taylor announced the album...and then again while he listened to how brilliant it is (you know he did)...and then AGAIN when he saw the streaming numbers today. Then I would fly away cackling a little fly laugh thinking about how Taylor OWNS this whole album and they get NOTHING! 👌

Taylor Swift was flawless! Nobody does it like Taylor! I am so thankful to have gotten to go to both nights of the #1989WorldTour in Edmonton and I leave with a happy open heart. She said so many things that just resignited with my soul at this point in my life. Thank you Taylor for making me feel as though all this pain is normal and temporary and hopefully in the end worthwhile and making me a stronger person. You honestly will never know how much you and your music has helped me in this process.
Have you ever had your heart break so badly that you feel as though you can physically feel the shattered pieces beating independently of each other? One half says "You will be okay, we can get through this" and yet the other half says "No, I'm sad, this hurts. Let's feel this". Each day is a constant struggle between thinking you're better than this and crying in the bathroom at work because you know he doesn't love you like you love him and he chose to leave. I don't think I can heal this time. I don't see any possible way of these pieces ever fitting back together and beating in unison again. You might have permanently broken something that used to be so beautiful, pure, selfless and full of love.
