{[Mod note: Believe it or not, I am still here. After Tumblr collapsed on itself, and a number of other issues surfaced, I rather lost my motivation to make more content for this blog. I presumed no one would be watching here, to boot. I tend to just lurk around what’s left these days.]}

Why did you leave the Ain't Never Had Friends Like Us blog? Is this blog dead now?

{{I clearly have issues updating even one blog, so trying to commit to a second blog was a terrible idea. Trying to commit to a second blog where other people were depending on me for updates was a disastrous idea. There were many instances where someone wanted to do something with Rarity that I wasn’t comfortable with, or put words into her mouth without asking me, and that really got under my skin. I felt like I was losing control of a character that was important to me, and I didn’t like it one bit. Genie Rarity is a character I have some long-term plans for, and some of those plans got a bit mucked up as a result of all this. Not only that, I was unreasonably invested in her.}}
{{At the same time, my lack of updating and busy work schedule mean I really don’t have the right to say any of what I just said. People more creative and talented than I want to create content, and me saying ‘no’ because of the above mentioned issues is petty and wrong.}}
{{When being haranuged about something for the blog, I abruptly suggested I give up control of Rarity to one of the other creators, and the suggestion was met with pretty much, “That sounds great!”, so I went ahead with it. That the suggestion was followed up with a reminder to remove myself from the blog contributor list and an immediate claim to Genie Rarity on their personal blog was further evidence that I made the correct decision.}}
{{As to whether or not I’ll be continuing Genie Rarity’s story in this space, I’m not certain. I’ll say this: Genie Rarity’s story is planned in my head, and VERY IMPORTANT to me at this point. I absolutely have plans and desire to continue it. That being said, I lack the talent, time, and skill to do so. It might also just be the polite thing to do to completely avoid future updates, so as to prevent confusion with the other Genie Rarity, which I no longer control.}}
{{I still have a positively wicked genie obsession, and I love genie ponies a whole lot. But at the same time, I just botched everything up to the point that, maybe all I can be is a fan. I dunno.}}

The beginning of something magical and wonderful! Ain’t Never Had Friends Like Us has officially kicked off. It promises to be a very fun side-universe project full of ponies, friends, and of course, genies!
The project is being spearheaded by Genie Twilight, who has done a ton of awesome work to get this whole thing moving. It will on occasion feature other creator’s works, OCs, and genie related creations! Genie Rarity will certainly be a part of the blog, provided that I can find the time and ability to contribute, and she’ll be bringing along somepony special, as well.
The entry above is simply one of five, but I don’t want to spam everyone’s timelines. But please, do check out the new blog, and look forward to more genie magic and mischief in the future.
Good heavens, where HAVE we been? Fear not, intrepid readers! I do promise that more genie related fun is on the horizon. Pardon my absence, and rest assured that we’ve not forgotten about you!

{Another extended absence, for which I am truly sorry! Life has this way of getting... complicated. In addition to mountains of work, and some international travel obligations, the mod admits to battling depression and a general depletion of motivation. Basically, bad feels, overall. It’s made things quite difficult, when it comes to continuing forward with the blog.}
{Regardless, there is still every intention to continue this blog, and the story will keep pushing forward if and when the resources are available. There is much left yet to tell and explore, and share with all of you. The hope is to build up a backlog before progressing, to avoid large lapses in the future. Getting to that point will take some effort, however.}
{Also, as an important note: Another genie related project will be conjured up soon, and when the details are finalized I will certainly be sharing it with you all! There’s not much to say at the moment, but when everything is in order, I shall. Keep your eye on this space for further details.}

Finally got pictures taken of this girl. Rarity in a cute little genie outfit. The outfit is fully removable, though the legwarmer/harem pant things are a little difficult to get on and off.
