Do they make a Hallmark card for the 3 yr anniversary of this?
THIS IS SO FUCKING FUNNY
For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.
Shoutout to the all queer family heroes
wow this actually makes me feel really happy cause that person is me…
It me
I have to tell this story.
I thought I was the first person to come out on either side of my family, but like three years after I came out, my mom was like, “By the way, my Aunt Mildred was a lesbian.”
“What? Really?”
“Yeah. My mom just told me this story the other day about her. She also had really bad depression, so bad that she was hospitalized. Her father flew out to San Diego to see her there. The nurses caught him on the way in and told him the no matter what she said, he was not allowed to get upset.” (This is the Catholic side of the family. Like, serious Irish Catholic with eleven kids and multiple priests in the family. Also super-duper Southern. And this was the 1940s and it was illegal.) “And he got real scared, but he went in. And she said, ‘Daddy, I’m a lesbian.’ He threw his hands in the air and hollered, ‘OH THANK GOD! I was worried it was gonna be something bad.’”
So. Shoutout to my Great Aunt Mildred, because she got there before I did.
Further shoutout to my second cousin Jared, who thought he was the first in even the extended family until he turned up for Granny’s 90th birthday, saw me for the first time in probably fifteen years, and heard me utter the words, “My wife…”
General shoutout to anybody who even thought they were the first in their family when they came out, even if they found out differently later on.
Y'know what, I love this story so fucking much that I’m going to schedule it to reblog when people will see it.
shoutout to those nurses who were ready to throw the fuck down for their young depressed lesbian patient like… when we talk about allies that is actually the kind of ally that has helped us to survive. in the most literal sense.
@anerdyfeminist this tag was so surreal to read because the first out queer in my family was MY Uncle Bill
Incredibly important difference in interpretation and I agree hehe should be used in this manner
GET THEIR ASS
ALEX HOLY FUCKING SHIT MY KING
Also hey, who was going to be the gay character on Gravity Falls (I'm assuming someone besides just the cops?)
Alex Hirsch said on Twitter that Wendy could possibly be bisexual or a lesbian. He's also hinted that they also considered making other characters LGBTQ.
However, he also said that he doesn't want to pull a J.K. Rowling and make a character's orientation canon after the fact.
As for minor characters, the Love God was supposed to wear a necklace with a polysexual symbol, and there was supposed to be a lesbian couple in the same episode. Disney made them change both.
A controversial theory: Worm on a string are furby larvae
@toy-dragon YOU WOULD.
Pls subscribe to my OnlyFoes, I posted some new rudes today <3
“you are a lawyer and he is a hamster” is one of the funniest statements ive ever had the pleasure of reading

For anyone who doesn't know what's going on in Canada right now (which, let's be real, is probably everyone who's not in Canada):
This week, a mass grave was discovered at a former Indian Residential School, in Kamloops, BC. The grave contained the bodies of 215 Indigenous children.
For people outside of North America, residential schools were places that Indigenous children were sent to, to have their language and culture stripped away from them. They were literally stolen from their families, and scattered across Canada, to ensure that they would be surrounded by children who didn't speak their language. They were given Christian names and forced to speak English. They were horrendously abused, and the survivors have been traumatized.
Hundreds of children never returned. The assumption has always been that they died. This has now been confirmed.
The school in Kamloops closed in 1978. They are now trying to identify bodies to inform family members. The last residential school closed in the 1990s. There is growing demand to search all of them, but the government hasn't responded to that, as of yet. Ottawa JUST gave in to pressure to fly the Canada flag at half mast. They weren't even going to do that.
This is the reality if anti-Indigenous racism in Canada. The residential schools may be closed, but that hasn't stopped the abduction of Indigenous children, let alone the hundreds of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
I’ve just finished The Witcher 1 and I couldn’t get this scenario out of my head
(for those who haven’t played the first game, Geralt suffers from amnesia here!)
